Jeffrey Swart ā Executive VP & General Counsel at TrueCar
Executive Bio
Jeff Swart is the EVP, General Counsel and Secretary of TrueCar. Jeff has practiced law for over 20 years and draws upon a deep history in the technology and automotive sectors as well as a strong background in litigation, securities regulation, insurance, risk management, commercial transactions, and corporate governance. He is responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance, and public policy matters at TrueCar.
Jeff joined TrueCar in May 2014. Prior to joining TrueCar, Jeff was a litigation partner at the law firm of Alston & Bird LLP, and before that, a law clerk for Judge Ed Carnes, on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to law school, Jeff worked as a CPA with the professional services firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
Jeff holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the Emory Goizueta Business School and a J.D. from Emory Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Law Journal.
