Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

It's not that I'm undervalued, I just took on more responsibilities this year that are way above my current paycheck, a salary increase would be great if it matches what I currently do as a member of Trustwave. Additionally, by making overtime paid better.

For employees that go above the call of duty and are bringing creative ideas to the table, there should be a ways to compensate them. Otherwise creative employees will not feel the need to bring things to the company and will potentially leave.

I do feel valued! I love my job and my boss! When I look at the average salary of my job title, the average is higher than what I am currently paid. It is not a deal breaker, though. I know I can grow here.

Based on market rates, it would seem that I am below the market average. With inflation and rising costs, times are becoming more difficult on existing compensation. That being said, review season is upon us so this could change my views depending on what the company does.

I do think that compensation could be improved. There are other non-salary bonuses that help, but in general, I think base salaries could be improved to reflect the work of employees, industry standards, and value brought to the company.
