The pros is good bonus, competetive salary, not bad healthcare plan. If you are not in tech then a good company to work with. But if you are in engineering tech team the management is not great who micro manages, biased, doesn't respect you, won't accept any mistakes or encourage new ideas.

What's the Engineering team like at Unanet?
rather amazing. Incredibly smart, diverse in expertise and always willing to work together. It's a unique experience in my work history and I'm glad I found it.

How do I do well in an interview at Unanet?
Be yourself. Don't freak out / freeze up. At this point, you know your stuff or you don't. Be loose, be happy and be professional.

What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Unanet? How many hours are you working?
The vibe is pretty awesome. We all work hard towards a common goal. We are very collaborative and cooperative. WE tend to work about 40 hours a week. It can go more or less depending on you and your workload and what you have going on at home. It's a supportive and flexible environment.
Normal work week unless something is bugging me and I put in more.
What part of Unanet's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
We're growing across the board. There are some difficulties in bringing new team members up to speed but we are improving. If you don't have growth pains, you're not growing.
Unanet's software and related services business are both growing rapidly.
How's the work life balance at Unanet?
tremendous. I've never had a problem taking off to help a family member or sick kid. Incredibly supportive.
There is good work life balance. There is a supportive team culture. Successful growth provides opportunities but also creates some periodic peaks in demand.
What's the interview process like at Unanet?
You can't fake it. They test your knowledge of the subject, not for the book answers but what you know. Lastly there's a culture fit interview with the President/COO or the CEO. They take great care in keeping the culture.
Individual interviews with the hiring manager followed by group interviews with peers and co-workers are common.
What's the work from home policy like at Unanet?
Flexible. It varies by department but you are wanted at the office but if you need to work from home they are cool with it.
How are the benefits at Unanet for employees in Engineering?
Except for sales which has a commission structure all Unanet has the same benefits. Health, vacation, sick, personal leave, charity leave, 401K, profit sharing, bonuses, other insurances. It's very good.
What's the internship program like at Unanet?
Not totally sure as I'm a bit passed that stage but the interns are given meaningful work to do and are treated like all the other employees. We understand that this is education and work and the program is tailored for that.
Is it hard to take time off for vacations and travel at Unanet?
Nope, you are encouraged to burn every bit of vacation.
What's the pay like for Engineering roles at Unanet?
Pretty good base pay. Great benefits and bonus plan.
How long do the interviews usually take at Unanet?
hour or two depending on group and who's lined up and how the pre-interview went.
How's the leadership on the Engineering team at Unanet?
Amazing.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Unanet?
It's already immensely supportive and flat. Possibly improve intergroup communications but that's about it. It's the best culture I've ever worked at so it's hard to imagine something better.

Unanet has the best company culture of anywhere I have ever worked. Morale is excellent!
