How employees describe working at University of Memphis
The university has a new president who is one year in and a new provost so time will tell if they can improve the place. Previous president and provost were laughably bad. The buildings are falling apart. Leaks abound. The roaches are everywhere. Pay is low compared with peers. Morale is low.
Mired in bureaucracy, the UofM is a poorly funded institution, with moldy, roach infested buildings and a total lack of leadership
The UofM is a stagnant place. Nothing gets done. Buildings are in shambles unless they are new (and most new buildings are sports related). The administration is not at all supportive.
