Mr. Jeffrey J. Fenton, also known as Jeff, has been Senior Vice President of Business Development at United Rentals, Inc. since January 2013. Mr. Fenton served as Chief Executive Officer at Devonshire Advisors LLC and served as its Principal since March 2004. He served as an Operating Partner and Advisor of Inverness Graham Investments. He has had broad chief executive officer, general management and advisory experience with numerous private equity investment firms. Mr. Fenton has a proven record of leading large and diverse organizations, developing and executing market leading strategies and consistently delivering bottom-line results. His leadership experience includes global business operations, acquisitions, divestitures, start-ups, turnarounds, IPOs, manufacturing, distribution and financial services. Mr. Fenton served as the Chief Executive Officer at Maxim Crane Holdings, Inc. (formerly, Maxim Crane Works Holdings, Inc. and Anthony Crane Rental Holdings, LP) from November 1, 1999 to October 3, 2002. He held positions of increasing responsibility over a 20-year career with General Electric, culminating in the role as the Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Modular Space and an officer of GE Capital Corporation from 1998 to 1999. As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fenton was responsible for the overall strategic Direction and Management of Anthony Crane Rental Holdings, LP. He served as a Cerberus Capital Partners Operating Partner, was Chief Executive Officer of a $400 million private equity backed industrial business and served as an Advisor to Cerberus. From March 2004 to April 2008, Mr. Fenton also served as Senior Advisor to Cerberus Capital Management L.P. Mr. Fenton serves as the Chairman of the board of Bluelinx Corporation and has been its Director since June 2004. He served as Chairman of the Board of Bluelinx Holdings Inc., from August 2004 to March 7, 2008. He serves as a Director of IAP World Services, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of ModusLink Global Solutions, Inc. since November 1, 2010. He has been a Director of LCV Capital Management, LLC and Raging Capital Management, LLC October 20, 2010. He served as a Director of IAP Worldwide Services, Inc., since December 2005, Global Motorsports Group, Inc., Transamerica Trailer Leasing Co. and Formica Corporation. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at Inverness Graham Investments. Mr. Fenton served as a Director of Bluelinx Holdings Inc. from June 2004 to March 7, 2008. He served as a Member of Board of ACR Management, L.L.C., the General Partner of Anthony Crane Rental Holdings, LP until October 3, 2002. Mr. Fenton received an M.S. in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan Business School, where he was a Sloan Fellowship and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
