My managers at branch level seem to be willing to help, however their hands are tied by upper management as far as helping their employees.
They were easy to talk with.

The company has the best long term vision of anywhere I have worked.
Very understanding, compassionate, patient and polite.
Prosperous leadership that wants you to win.
better at understanding what the company can offer/ bennefits.
Leading, setting by example, stop playing favorites and putting the majority of the hard work on 1 person
Better training for central dispatch that they treat their drivers better and their people better pay is one thing and benefits are good but like I said they don't treat their people right at all maybe it's the management in that region

There needs to be Less politics and favoritism. A business needs professionalism.
Review from Sales Dept
Acknowledging the go getters that report to them and handle the heavy work
Review from Sales Dept
Might have to be the bonuses
The free steaks at the end of the year And the boots are a nice gesture
The annual bonus and stock plan
bonuses and medical and the flexibility to work from home when need be.
I get a company car I can use as my personal vehicle
Id feel better about the compensation if it kept up with inflation and rising costs. Id even be happy if we were paid the I distry standard. Instead they load you fown with overtime so you think youre making good money.
Keeping your word when an employee leaves a great company to come work for united, then is dragged through the mud over and over.
Often understaffed as the salary was not attracting to new candidates and positions took a long time to fill
Bonuses for everyone not just mangment
Pay is not fair , doing same job , someone else making way more per hour, for not as much work
The energy the displayed at work.
Review from Operations Dept
We always showed up on time
everyone is part of the same fraternity no matter where in the country they work
Focus on safety kept employees safe.
they all know their place, we all help each other and can say without hesitation we are a team.
United Rentals is stuck in its ways and refuses to adapt in many facets of operations, business, leadership and management. There is very little budge to change even if it would mean overall it will make the system as a whole will work smoother. The push and pull game with union and non union is bad
They need to work , instead of taking boss out to breakfast and sitting in his office B.SEN all day
Management to under stand what worker do every day
as with any job, communication is key getting better at communicating what is important is a constantly changing job
Review from Sales Dept
Local brand is great, however "1UR" is non-existent. Its a glamour tactic to make the shareholders happy. It is not what is actually happening.
Nothing. Its a horrible culture.
Young new ideas on ways of doing stuff
Review from Operations Dept
people first. Work to live versus live to work
safety and investment in training.
Better care for veterans who work for you
This company needs to change and adapt, commit to its promises that are told to its employees and workers, treat everyone validly and fairly, and treat its veterans WITH RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING. Do not undermine and invalidate its employees while boasting how well they treat their workers.
Be fair to all your employees
Actually enforce the culture being presented even across the managment side
Managers need to be held accountable
It was honest and up front. However as the years have gone by, this company has lost all of its values and just gloats to make their shareholders happy while neglecting the very employees that run the business.
They sell you on the company so you will be excited to start working. Thats where the excitemwnt ends. Its all lies and BS.
In person interview was good
Fair negotiation for fair pay
Review from Operations Dept
very good and very thorough
Ask relevant and inteligent questions
Actaully have a face to face interview.
Leaving and working with good co workers
Interacting with the people that you meet
Review from Operations Dept
solving problems for our customers every day
The few veterans I interact with, as well as the very few employees who also are committed to doing the right thing and are also neglected and abused by this company since they can be relied on.
regular interaction with the customers
Get new managment at that company location
Company doesnt care about keeping customers lont term Take better care of the customer base
Treat the employees better we have lazy managers that don't want to do anything they say one thing and then they do another thing when there's a problem they don't face it Central dispatch is extremely bad
