At UnityPoint Health, we know our collective actions determine the experience we create. Our team members strive to work as one through four key values: Foster Unity, Own the Moment, Champion Excellence and Seize Opportunities.

How employees describe working at UnityPoint Health

Allow the same affordable access of quality care in our community for all health plans, not just Wellmark.

We are paid less than other hospitals in our area even when their cost of living is less.

They only care about money, wont compensate staff appropriately, when nurses beg for help they gaslight staff into working extra hours (unsafe length shifts) rather than encourage fresh staff to come in. HR runs all decisions rather than unit leaders. Patient safety is of minimal concern.

Mostly positive we could use more help right now, but i think thats everywhere.

No pay raises for 7 yrs for providers while ceo and executives keep pocketing.
