Univar Solutions Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

GREAT Package, and it meets the needs.

Posted 15 days ago

4% 401k match and an annual lump of 4% added to the 401K.

The retirement benefit options that are available.

Fairly low cost health care

Retirement but it's through the union.

Very comprehensive and employee health focused

Medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Benefits, vacation, and pay are the best part

Quarterly bonuses for sales reps

Uncapped commission and competitive base

The 401K retirement package is very generous.

Pension is much higher than industry average

Had options that the company never allowed me to sell so was worth 0

I understand what we need to do to increase the value of the company

Review from Operations Dept

Decent coverage for an affordable price for Family

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The benefits package is terrible. It has gotten worse with each year that goes by.

They will tell you that you are doing everything right then can you for a younger, lower paid employee.

They pay ~30% of what the fair market rate would be, and as a result the place is a ghost town. My team was 7 people when I joined it years ago, and now there are less than half. No attempt to re-staff those people has been made, but my workload has more than doubled. Also pay cuts, not raises.

Univar invests money in image and not their employee salary.

Fair pay and more management support

This company is ran by investors and everything is a number , use to be a great place to work before univar came along , and the moral went down , attitudes change , and devalued there employees that actually do the work that pa y them there big salary , they stripped us of bonuses , safety awards
