Approachable, experts, hardworking, pragmatic, respectful
They are all about safety
Their attitude towards finding ways to make my job easier and more efficient.
If there's a problem, they're on it.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, host events, employee appreciation days, more holidays off and incentives. They have been asked of these things but do not care.
Being open minded listen more to employees

Communication. Management has no idea of daily processes.
Univar has shown in my almost 22 years not caring about there employees you are just number if you anything less than management , they have more presidents , ceos , and cutting employees in warehouse and driver positions , putting excessive work that's undoable and skeleton crews ....?

What is the best part about your compensation package?
GREAT Package, and it meets the needs.

The retirement benefit options that are available.
Fairly low cost health care
Retirement but it's through the union.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The benefits package is terrible. It has gotten worse with each year that goes by.
They will tell you that you are doing everything right then can you for a younger, lower paid employee.
They pay ~30% of what the fair market rate would be, and as a result the place is a ghost town. My team was 7 people when I joined it years ago, and now there are less than half. No attempt to re-staff those people has been made, but my workload has more than doubled. Also pay cuts, not raises.
Univar invests money in image and not their employee salary.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's always a good, and positive environment
The last stop of the day is home.
Very focused on culture, employee care, diversity and inclusion
I could manage my own schedule.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better leadership and training for the leadership. They had no idea what was going on.
Leadership changes will improve the company culture
Hire more people. Stop letting the top level execs pay themselves more than 100x what the front-line workers make DURING A PANDEMIC. Monsters.

Sounded like they had already made up they're mind before the interview.
Very organized, personable, and straightforward
Very challenging and interviewed with smart, experienced personnel
Very informal and conversational. I felt at wase and able yo be myself.
I was interviewed by some pretty high level people so I had the opportunity to ask harder questions.

Driving test before hiring guys that don't know how to drive

When I had a success.

Actually listen to the staff and value their customer insights. Promote leadershii that wants people to be successful, not that feel threatened by someone that is successful
Company is reactive rather than proactive. The various sales groups do not communicate effectively and as a result many sales opportunities are lost.

Company needs to plan better and communicate with employees better
Its not gonna change because they don't ask the workers who physically do the work , how to improve , you have people giving orders that has no experience in what we do and what it takes to do so......
