Mr. Jason Bates has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of USA Truck, Inc. since May 2017. Mr. Bates served as Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations Officer of Swift Transportation Company since December 2010 until May 8, 2017. Mr. Bates joined Swift in 2003 and during his tenure, has served in various financial leadership roles, including responsibility for FP&A, Business Analytics, Strategic Reporting, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Treasury and Investor Relations. He was the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of USA Truck. Previous to joining Swift, he served in a variety of finance and accounting leadership roles for Honeywell International. Mr. Bates completed his Bachelor of Science degree in business at Brigham Young University and obtained his master's degree in business administration from Arizona State University.
