Asked to the IT Department at USA Truck

  • Ask anyone in the Van Buren, AR area. If they are in IT, they either know someone who was laid off by USAT, or they were laid off themself. Basically, they'll fire you over a phone call or text, and refuse to answer questions. If you have the opportunity, record the call from your supervisor (if you are working for USAT IT, you are probably already recording all your calls with supervisors and leadership because of trust issues). They will try to lie about the reason of your layoff to keep from or slow down unenployment payments.

Now, you have to be friends with the buddy club out of Washington state for growth opportunites, or even the opportunity to keep your current job. I've left this company and found another that offers plenty of growth options, whether it be training professional training or shadowing others. If you are on the USA Truck IT team, you'll find the best growth opportunites on Linkedin, Monster, and Indeed.
