It has been a wonderful experience

Overall, my experience has been a positive one. The people that I work with have made the job fun and a huge change from where I came from.

We can do alot better for our staff who make less than $75k. i see so many suffer. Enough with these useless online health programs. Just give us time off to work out and raises.

I love UT, I love the patient care we provide, I love our upper echelon, I no longer like my department, I don't like how we have taken away the team atmosphere with each department. I don't like what this job has become since the EDGE/MOST transition. I miss the old UT when it was really awesome.

Overall, I have had a positive experience. In the last couple of years, it hasn't been as positive.

They lead by example which has been a great motivation

They ask our opinions and care about our feedback. That's important to having a cohesive team.

I love how they are always looking for ways to grow our organization and do their best to keep everyone informed. There are so many opportunities for career growth!

I like the higher echelon, above the department leadership. But our department leadership does not follow what UT stands for

Compensate or match paid according the Market, for UT Health employees don't have to seek a 2nd job with inflation and cost of living San Antonio is growing every year & 1% increment rise for the past 2 years and no increase on 2021 we cannot longer stretch our our checks.

The PTO is outstanding, better than I've ever experienced. Overall, the total compensation package is remarkable.

I appreciate the work-life balance afforded with ample PTO and holidays during the year, along with great insurance and now family leave. I do not feel like I am micromanaged and have flexibility to use my time as needed as long as I get my job done.

The medical benefits are the best. low co-pays and UT Health San Antonio pays for my medical 100%

That my salary would be competitive when considering my experience and educational achievements

This department had more people when I arrived. Since then people who have left have not been replaced, but the workload has only grown. It would be nice to be compensated for keeping things afloat while the department is short-staffed. Cost of living increases would be nice also.

They pay their staff poorly. It takes many decades to promote or to get a fair salary. It's hard to support a family if you are a staff and a single parent. Many of us must take on another job just to survive. It's been a long time since we got a COLA and only;y the faculty get real increases. SAD!

I think when peers get 5% and it is listed online that all of Texas State employees are going to get a raise, and we only get 2%, but the retirement goes up over 2%, our checks show less money. I appreciate the extra retirement, but right now we need the money for gas & food, we want to see a raise

To be paid adequately outweighs the benefits. Salary pays my bills. My benefits do not pay my bills. You will get more loyalty from employees if they are paid better and will not be looking elsewhere for employment.

They're supportive and open to answering questions

That we work as a team. We help each other, no matter what position we are in.

We are all on the same page, we watch out for each other since department leadership doesn't provide us with the tools we need to succeed

My team is supportive and we can discuss our work processes openly.

New employees want that work/family balance which many want to work from home. They call in sick and want to work at home. The bare minimum is the philosophy.

Everyone strives to make sure patient care is not skimped on

We are surrounded by people of different backgrounds and there is always sharing, whether it's food, holiday traditions or cultural traditions.

The culture here is very welcoming and positive.
