Overall good company but would like an evaluation of the pay wage

I have enjoyed working for this company. They are helpful and encourage us

There needs to be more support for staff. For example, since Covid there has not been any financial assistance for education.

Excellent. Been here over 20 years and plan to retire here.

They make me self-sufficient and challenge me to learn new things.

No sure, but the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Andrea Marks, is not at all easy to work with or approachable/friendly.

They support and they do not micro manage.

They do not discriminate me by my educational status.

This leadership team looks at the employees as a whole and not just a worker. There is a balance between personal and professional that is appreciated!

My manger is a very down to earth person that is eager to help each of us grow into better employees.

The level of service that accompanies it.

I would say insurance and 401K

Compensation that matches not only my title but the work that is actually being done. Compare the same position compared to other places.

Particularly, SON staff is underpaid in comparison to other schools like the SOM.

Promotion in a timely manner

We hold many positions in pediatrics. We are not just a nurse or just a medical assistant. We are reception, benefits coordinator, care coordinator, mediator, the direct line between our patients and provider. My staff and I go above and beyond what our wages reflect.

I believe that salaries should be raised at 6% overall UTHSCSA to counter inflation rates, and to be able to be a competitive employer.

We are very collaborative, and we have equally good goals for our profession and strive to have a good encouragement for each other.

We are all dedicated to patient care. We all care. We all are dedicated to providing the upmost care to the community. We communicate really well with our patients and their families. I work in pediatrics and we are Foster Care of Excellence. I AM PROUD!
