How employees describe working at Varsity Tutors

No communication. Cancelling weeks of sessions that were scheduled with no notice.

communication with their tutors. on time payment. transparent policies.

For potential tutors: they hide their pay rate from you until you do the work of going through a video interview, preparing and teaching a lesson. I'll save you the trouble. They pay $15-20/hr and they will ruthlessly try to get your negative reviews taken down

Sort of out there on my own and certainly as someone that was coming in new, should attempt to accept any opportunities that are listed, and, if the tech systems keeps you from being able to properly accept, its by purpose until you've earned your class/session.

They can always be relied upon... to let you down.
