Mr. Jonathan Faddis, also known as Josh, has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Veeva Systems Inc., since April 2016, September 2012 and May 2013 respectively. Mr. Faddis manages and oversees all aspects of the legal function at Veeva, including commercial contracting, IP management, governance matters and compliance matters. He has over 14 years of experience in the legal field. He served as Vice President at Veeva Systems Inc., since September 2012. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Taleo Corp. from July 2010 to May 2012. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Taleo Corp. since October 1, 2010 and also served as Company Secretary of Taleo Corp. from June 2001 to May 2012. He served as Vice President and Corporate Counsel of Taleo Corp. since November 4, 2004 and oversew all corporate legal activities throughout Taleo. He was instrumental in the development of Taleo's software-as-a-service business model, completion of Taleo's initial public offering in 2005, completion of nine acquisitions and Taleo's eventual sale for approximately $2.1 billion. Prior to that, Mr. Faddis served as the Legal Director of Taleo Corp. A seasoned attorney and Taleo's primary inside counsel since 2001, he has a significant experience in technology licensing transactions, intellectual property protection, international data privacy and data security, technology partnerships and mergers and acquisitions to Taleo. Prior to Taleo, he practiced in the intellectual property group at Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, where he handled copyright, trademark and trade secret matters. He served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Justice Craig Enoch, Supreme Court of the State of Texas. Mr. Faddis received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
