Maroun Mourad — President of ISO - Commercial Lines at Verisk Analytics

Mr. Maroun Mourad has been President of ISO - Commercial Lines at Verisk Analytics, Inc. since June 19, 2017. Mr. Mourad leading Verisk Analytics, Inc.' commercial lines coverage and actuarial products, commercial underwriting solutions and commercial lines field operations. Mr. Mourad is a data analytics and insurance industry executive, profitably growing businesses for 19 years in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and emerging markets. Mr. Mourad is an industry thought leader, public speaker, volunteer and mentor. He is at Gen Re, AIG, Arch and Zurich, in leadership roles, Mr. Mourad served clients across underwriting (production and technical), operations and general management. He led teams and P&Ls in personal and commercial lines spanning multiple customer segments, distribution channels and cultures. Mr. Mourad's focus on team building, customer centricity and delivering quality results enabled business transformations in established, start-up and turnaround environments. Mr. Mourad served as the Chief Executive Officer of new general insurance (GI) division - Middle East of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. since January 24, 2011. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Zurich's General Insurance Business - Middle East at Zurich Insurance Group AG. Mr. Mourad leads the integration of Compagnie Libanaise d'Assurances, a privately owned Lebanese insurer with branch operations in the UAE, Kuwait and Oman. Mr. Mourad joined ZIC from Chedid Capital Holding where he was a Director. His first book, The Insurance Management Playbook, A Leader's Guide was published in 2014. Mr. Mourad holds Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.
