Executive Bio
Mr. Neal Anderson has been the President of Wood Mackenzie at Verisk Analytics, Inc. since June 11, 2016. Mr. Anderson is responsible for the overall business performance of the Verisk Analytics, Inc. Since joining Wood Mackenzie in 1996, he has held several other senior roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Consulting and Head of Global Research. During his more than 27 years in the industry, he has worked for BG Group as a Petroleum Geologist in the Asia-Pacific and U.K. Regions and in the Strategic Planning Group, where he was involved in the development and implementation of upstream and downstream corporate strategy, economic evaluation and asset acquisition. He has been an Active Member of the U.S. National Petroleum Council since 2010. Mr. Anderson holds a B Sc (with Honours) degree from Queen's University Belfast and an M Sc from Imperial College London.
