Sondra Scott — President of Verisk Maplecroft at Verisk Analytics

Ms. Sondra Scott has been the President of Verisk Maplecroft at Verisk Analytics, Inc. since June 11, 2016. Ms. Scott is responsible for leading the Verisk Analytics's globalization and growth effort. She has more than 25 years of experience working in the content and analytics sector in the energy and risk discipline. She has led multisided global research and consultancy teams and is an experienced strategist with a passion for innovative product development. She has worked in the United States, the United Kingdom and Latin America, globalizing businesses and developing local practices. Before joining Verisk Maplecroft in 2015, she filled a number of roles at Wood Mackenzie over a 13-year period. She served as the Head of Consulting of Wood Mackenzie Ltd. She led Wood Mackenzie's energy consultancy practice. She served as the Head of the Industry and Macro Trends service, which focuses on global industry trends and scenarios, macroeconomics and country and geopolitical risk. She has been an Independent Director of Gran Tierra Energy Inc since September 19, 2017. Ms. Scott received a Master of Science Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a Dipl??me d'Ing??nieur from the Institut Fran??ais du P??trole and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wesleyan University.
