What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

They are very responsive to questions. They express their thanks for the work of the team. They make you feel like a valued part of the team

Review from Sales Dept

They are driven to succeed.

Review from IT Dept

Organization, documentation and dedication to company growth, friendliness.

Review from IT Dept

Transparency, investment in me as an employee, ability to pivot quickly

Review from Operations Dept

The leadership team provides access to the skills and resources to help me be successful in my role. They invest in my future here.

Review from Executive Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Keeping their employees informed about the executive team's goals, the company's financial goals, and retention through benefits and pay.

Review from Operations Dept

There is no leadership. We are on our own.

It would be helpful if leadership shared more of the company agenda and fostered relationships between departments.

Review from Marketing Dept

Communication and to stop belittling our efforts especially on the floor.

Morale, constructive criticism without anger.

Review from Operations Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

comprehensive and affordable health care. 401K matching.

Review from Sales Dept

The combination of salary and variable compensation has improved in my time here. For executives, the bonus structure should change to stay competitive, but we're headed in the right direction.

Review from Operations Dept

The competitive pay rate and high variable compensation.

Review from Executive Dept

Different options for health insurance. Living in Sioux Falls my whole life, I have only had the option for Sanford Health Plan (which isn't that great) so it is nice that I don't have to go to Sanford. I can now go to Avera if I would like

Cost is down and offers are up!

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Operations staff is regularly undervalued, and turnover is very high. Vervent works with hiring agencies to keep the positions filled, but the benefits package is poor, and is combined with hourly pay that Vervent fights to keep as low as possible for operations staff.

Review from Operations Dept

I think the pay for my role for the location we're in is a bit under market and industry average and the lack of annual raises makes it a little hard to feel valued.

Review from Operations Dept

I wasn't aware that Vervent doesn't give annual raises so I was a little baffled when I found out. I understand Vervent has a variable compensation but in previous companies, I would receive an annual raise based on my performance and then a bonus based on the company/department performance.

Review from Operations Dept

I am happy enough with my salary but was unaware there are no annual raises provided. That detail should be communicated before people join the company

Training is atrocious. ZERO leadership. Zero response. Zero question answers. Zero trust.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

My team is full of forward thinking, innovative individuals with different backgrounds. While we are different, we have a lot in common as well!

Review from Marketing Dept

They work together well and seem to value each other's opinion and contribution to the team. They genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs and are vested in the company

Review from Sales Dept

Humor, friendliness, team attitude, varied knowledge

Review from IT Dept

My coworkers are smart, hard-working, and good people. My department is made up of the same.

Review from Operations Dept

Our team lifts each other up and motivates one another to do well.

Review from Executive Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

The operations staff are fine. Leadership is what needs improvement.

Review from Operations Dept

Training and knowledge is not consistant. NOTHING is consistant.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

There's a positive vibe at Vervent. Everyone seems happy in their role and enjoys being a part of the Vervent team.

Review from Sales Dept

There is always something new to learn and everyone chips in to get it done

Review from Operations Dept

Teamwork is the most positive aspect of our company culture. We support each other.

Review from Executive Dept

Work from home options and casual attaire. I came from a bank where we were very formal so it has been a good transition.

Everyone looks out for one another, is there to talk when needed and can help in a stressful day

Review from Operations Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Leadership can't be so consistently invisible. If they're going to force operations staff to come in to work in person, they should as well. They cite "security" concerns for why work from home is not an option for operations staff, but hypocritically and constantly work from home themselves.

Review from Operations Dept

Leaders and not tyrants are the culture here. Bullying is not ok

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

I liked how down to earth all the interviewers were. They weren't just driving questions about work, we talked about who I was as a person as well. Not often do you get in-depth questions to that degree.

Review from Marketing Dept

It was efficient and they were very clear at all points of the interview.

Review from Design Dept

I met with multiple people from different departments

Review from HR Dept

It was concise. One phone interview and 2 sets of in-person interviews and a decision was made in a span of less than 2 weeks which is quite efficient for a senior position.

Review from Marketing Dept

It was a panel interview with the department head, my potential supervisor & a potential coworker. I liked that it was quick and to the point and they let me know that I got the job later that same day.

Review from Marketing Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Actually hire people that stay. 10 hire, 1 stays.

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

What makes me happy at work is having a team of people who not only are amazing at their job but very helpful to everyone if there is an extra hand needed to pitch in.

Review from Marketing Dept

Being part of a positive and supportive team who values what I contribute

Review from Sales Dept

Helping people, learning something new everyday. Feeling a part of a team and feeling needed.

Review from IT Dept

Problem solving and having support doing it

Review from Operations Dept

The ability to make real changes in the lives of people who need access to credit.

Review from Executive Dept
