Ms. Doretha F. Lea, also known as DeDe, has been an Executive Vice President of Global Government Relations at Viacom Inc. since January 2013, having previously served as its Executive Vice President of Government Relations and Former Viacom beginning in November 2005. She has two decades of leadership experience and institutional knowledge. Ms. Lea's career at Viacom began in 1997 as its Vice President of Government Affairs. She also served as Vice President of Government Relations for Dallas-based television broadcasting company Belo Corporation, and as SVP of Government Relations for the National Association of Broadcasters. She sits on the boards of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Ms. Lea obtained a J.D. from Georgetown Law, and graduated cum laude from Howard University with a B.A. in Broadcast Managment.
