What do you like best about the leadership team?
Very smart and kind people
They understand family comes first

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They should better at giving recognition and reward to employees
Talk down to employees. Too many Indian employees in charge. They do not treat employees well.
Let the people do their work with some guidance and not micromanage everyone. You're one person, you don't know everything
Preventing coworkers from using derogatory and racial comments at work
Listening to other peoples input, be more trusting (less micromanaging)
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The salary is paid to market.
It's on the way to me

The vacation policy is nice.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If the company paid market rate.
The salaries here are nortoriously lower than our competitors
I would feel better if they company would give some raises to ALL the emp[olyees who made it to work during the pandemic. Most of us never missed away. No extra on our base pay? This is a terrible way to treat people. Yes,, I did get a 3% raise late last year but nothing the year prior.
They paid poorly and their paying standard is very poor
I've been doing work way above. my pay grade for far too long.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Extremely bright both intellectually and also from a common sense view, dedicated, loyal...let's just say if I were going into a battle they are the group I want with me--hands down.

They are collaborative, smart, and the best to learn from.
everybody gets along with each other.
The ones who do the work are hard working. The rest come in at 10:30 am and leave at 5:00 pm

Management is the worst. The employees are good but they dt get enough recognition
Every Viacom employees are very rude and bitter.

Everyone is willing to help
Flexibility they provide with schedules
We get to work at home
We mostly work alone and get the work done with very minimal help.
My coworker is not bad . They are cooperative
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They do not promote employees. You stay status quo.
Management should access each person as an individual at look at the impact they have in their position, instead of listening to insecure managers that are trying to hold onto their cushy, over compensated jobs

I believe customers think of big companys as a problem.
I think customers have good perceptions about company
Most of the outside world think Viacom produces "trash tv". TV shows about teen pregnancy, drug overdoes....
My Sr Director is not listening to our needs, we need more structure coming from US breach, everything is delayed and communication is horrible. Also, I don't get paid enough for the amount of responsibilities, stress and everything I do.
