Frequently Asked Questions for Vida's Live Call Review
Who may review my Info?
Your direct provider (coach, therapist, registered dietitian, or diabetes care and education specialist), their direct supervisor and the specially trained Vida Quality team may hear or see your information during live call monitoring. The following areas may be included:
Demographic information, such as job or education
Progress notes
Wellness plans
Is my information shared? With who?
Your info may be reviewed by your provider with their supervisor and/or the Vida Quality team.
What if I want to opt-out?
You may opt-out of having a specific call or any call be part of Live Call Review. Simply tell your provider your request. For example, you may have a consultation in which you will share the info you want to be sure ONLY your provider hears. For that consultation, tell the provider to please notify the Vida Quality team to not listen live to this specific call. If you are not comfortable with ANY of your calls being part of Live Call Review, please say that and you will be added to a “do not listen” list that lets the Vida Quality team know to never listen live.
How often does live review happen?
Live Call Review takes place each month, at random, for certain providers. That means that not all calls are reviewed. There is a chance that your specific calls will never be reviewed. Every provider will be reviewed at some point throughout the year for quality.
Will I know it's happening?
You will hear from your coach during your first consultation that Live Call Review may happen. Otherwise, there is no alert about Live Call Review, so your time with your coach is not interrupted.

Set up your Nutrition Goals
Our Food Log takes the information you enter in the tracker and calculates the nutritional content of those items. Creating a goal in the Food Logger is a great way to keep track of information like Calories, sugar, or carbs so you can make sure you are always in line with your personal food goals.
To Begin, pressStart in the Food Logger.
From this page, you can choose the information you would like to track and set it up as a weekly goal. Please see the following article for more help on Setting Goals.
Setting up a Pathway
Now, when you open the food logger you should see a section to set up your eating pathway. If you want more information on the different Nutrition Pathways, please Click Here.
Logging a Meal
To begin logging a meal, simply press the+ sign next to the meal that you would like to log.
You can add a photo, enter a description of your meal to help give your coach a better idea of what you ate during that day. Start by selecting the + icon to search for your food item, on the meal period you wish to log.
Entering your Meal Description
With the new food search feature, simply type in the meal items you wish to enter. A list of prepopulated food items will appear, based on the description provided. You can search through a general list, or look for branded food items.
After you've selected your food items, you will then be asked to adjust the portion size. Feel free to tap into the number or the serving size located to the right of this in order to make any edits.
Once you are done entering your meal, simply press Logthebottom of the screenand that information will be adding to your food log for the day.
Adding a Photo to your Meal
Press onCamera Icon located next to the + Icon on the meal entry you wish to log for.
You can choose theCameraorLibraryin order to take or choose a picture from your device. Every photo can be replaced or retaken. After snapping the most picturesque photo of your meal you can, select to Use Photo.
A confirmation page will appear, letting you see your final meal masterpiece. Please select Log located at the bottom of the screen, and this photo will then appear in your meal log for that day.
View your Nutritional Information
Our Food log uses a natural language to interpret and store your food items. All you have to do is write down exactly what you ate in your meal, and the app will do it's best to calculate the nutritional information for that meal.
You can add specific measurements such as1 TBSPor3 OZ (ounces)and the meal entry will accurately calculate the nutrition information for that quantity of food. Just click on the serving to change the amount, or the serving size itself.
If you do not know the amount or do not to enter in that level of detail, you can simply leave it out and the app will assume the portion based on most frequently used serving sizes for that food item.
Grouped Meals
You can also type in your full meal without having to list each item individually.Our smart feature will detect the items you have eaten in bulk.
Simply type a description of your full meal, and search for the Grouped Meals section at the top of the food logger. The Vida app will detect the items you have logged.
Editing a Meal
In order to edit a meal photo, click on the photo that is currently logged in order to replace the photo.
You will be taken back to the meal log screen where you will be able to edit the photo or descriptionfor that meal. You can click into the serving size as well in order to make edits to the serving size, or the amount you entered.
In order to edit the meal description, you will need to delete the original entry.
Removing a Meal
To remove a meal, simply press the > icon next to the meal you logged and then chooseDelete located at the top right-hand corner.
Skip a Meal
Wasn't hungry for that meal? Too busy to eat? Fasting? All you have to do is open your Food Log and press the 3 dot icon at the top corner of the screen and then choose the meal you are skipping. The app will automatically mark that meal asSkipped.
Nutritionix
Vida Health uses a database called Nutritionix to power our food logging platform. Nutritionix is the largest verified food and grocery database in the world.

View ArticleGetting ready for a video consult with your health coach? Here are some helpful tips and best practices so you can get the most out of the app while you use it!
Make sure you are connected to a reliable network.Our video chat requires a fairly reliable internet connection in order to work successfully. You will want to make sure that you are using your mobile device on your Wifi Network, if possible and in an area where you get the strongest connection. Sitting next to the router is generally the best way to ensure you have the best connection available. We generally discourage using your phone's carrier network, although it is possible to have a successful call while on that connection
a. To ensure that you are in an area that will receive the best possible signal for your call, simply go to Google.com. Search for the word "Speedtest" and run the first test that shows up on the page. Your results should show you whether or not the speed of your connection is suitable for video. If it isn't, try to find an area where it is.
b. Please NOTE-If you are in an area with a poor connection, the video portion of the call may drop out leaving withAudio Only. This is to ensure that you are able to successfully connect to your coach at all times, even if you don't have the bandwidth to handle a video call.
Please make sure that you are logged into your Vida account with the app open 2-5 minutes before your call starts. This will ensure that you are available to pick up the call from your coach when it comes in.
Once the call has started, try not to switch between your wifi and phone network.Switching between networks while on the call will cause the call to freeze and will have trouble reconnecting. Make sure when you are connected to your coach that your device does not try to change the carrier setting mid-call.
CAUTION!!!
Please do not attempt to take a video consult with your coach or therapist while driving! We understand you may be excited to catch up, but we would still want to make sure you are following all rules or road and keeping yourself safe at all times!

With the new food logger, we no longer support the ability to log a timestamp of your meal. However, you can always enter your meals on the meal periods themselves. There are 2 ways to edit your photo. Start by going to the Me tab on your Vida App. You can tap the avatar in the top left-hand cornerto select a photo from your library or take a new one from your camera.
Or, select the Settings Icon in thetop right-hand corner of the Vida App. If you are on an Android device, please select the tab Change Profile Image. If you are on an iOS version tap the circular image located in the top center of the screen. You can choose from your camera library, or take a new photo.

Open the box and remove the scale, 4x AA batteries, and instruction packet.
Flip the scale upside down and insert the 4 batteries into the device.
Connect your device to Vida
Open the Vida app.
Login to your account if you have not already.
Go to the Me Tab in the bottom right hand corner.
Open the settings page by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner.
Scroll down to the section titled “Bluetooth”, and tap “connect”.
Tap on the “Weight Scale” category and select the A&D UC-352BLE.
Flip the scale upside down.
Press and hold the “Set” button until Pr is displayed (around 4-5 seconds).
On your Vida app you will see a pop-up titled “Bluetooth pairing request”. Tap Pair to accept the new device.
Notice that the spinning connected icon on the vida app turns into a green checkmark and says “success”.
Your device is now synced! - Tap done, cancel, and then exit the settings page.
Take your first reading
Open the Vida app to any tab.
Step onto the scale with both feet.
You will see black bars fill up from left to right as the device takes it measurement - try to stay still and balanced over the center.
When the device says “STEP OFF”, you may step off.
The device will show you your weight.
You will receive a pop-in message on the vida app confirming that the reading was successful. (it may take up to 5 minutes for the value to appear in the app.)
You’re done!
Weigh to go!
Congrats, your smart scale is ready for use! Your results will automatically sync to Vida so you and your coach can easily track your progress.

Now, you can work with your coach on your individual meal pathways. If you have already had a meal plan intact which was previously established, please let your coach know, and they will work to incorporate this into your personalized wellness goals.
Start by opening up the Food Logger on your Today Tab. Here, you can log your meals, see the nutritional value of your meal, along with all of the macronutrients associated with it.
Look for the tab sitting on top of your Daily Food Goals labeled Set up your eating pathway.
This will bring you to the different meal pathways you and your coach can work on. We offer a variety of different meal pathways that include, Lower Fat, Mediterranean, Plant-Based, Lower Sodium, and a Custom Plan.
You can toggle up the screen, or select Show by in order to filter out the meal pathways.
Once you've found a nutrition pathway you believe fit's your eating choices, simply tap on the meal card. Here, you can read more about what benefits each meal plan might have to offer. Once you've found a plan you like, please press Select Pathway.
You will be redirected back to the Food Logger. The nutrition pathway you have selected will display on top of your nutrition goals. Once you've finished, select Done located in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Setting your Nutrition Goals
After you've selected your nutrition pathway, it's time to start setting your goals.Creating goals in the Food Logger is a great way to keep track of information like calories, sugar, or carbs so you can make sure you are always in line with your personal food goals.

This is because either the email address you are using to register with has already been in use. Or you are using a special character our system does not recognize.

Start by opening your Vida App on your mobile device.Then select for the Me tab located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Next, search for the Settings tab located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. (The little Gear icon).
Select the tab that says Change Password.
Enter your old password in the section Current Password. Next, type in your new password in the section New Password. You'll have to confirm your new password in the section Confirm New Password.
Your new password will need 8 characters, 1 number, and 1 special character.
For example:P@ssword123!
Once you’ve completed this, select the tab that says Change Password.
You’re all set!

View ArticleLooking to switch coaches?
If you find that you aren't totally satisfied with your current coach, or your schedules just don't line up so well making it difficult to schedule your call, you can always try a new coach!
We have several coaches and we'll gladly set you up with someone who might be a better fit.
How to Request a New Coach:
Easy! Head to the Metab located on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Then select theSettingstab located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Click on the tabSwitch Coach.
Here, you will be asked to select the coach you want to switch. If you have multiple coaches, you can select which one you want to switch. However, if you have a therapist, you will need to contact your therapist about requesting a new one. Once you have selected the coach you want to switch, press continue.
You'll be asked to fill out a short survey. This provides our coach leads with more context on what type of wellness experience you are seeking. Please let us know if the Coaching Style is why you're requesting a new coach, or if there was a scheduling conflict. Or, simply feel free to type a free response on the empty space provided. Once you're done, press continue.
Next, you will be asked to fill out your availability. Your availability from when you onboarded into your account should prepopulate. If your schedule has changed, please mark off the times you will be available to accept your consult. However, if your schedule is still the same, please selectcontinue located at the bottom of the screen.
Next, you will be asked about what type of coaching style you prefer.Your style selections from when you first on-boarded into your account should prepopulate. If you wish to change this answer, please feel free to do so, or feel free to deselect them and choose 2 new coaching styles. Select continue when you have completed this.
Once you've filled your availability, a new list of coaches will appear based on your answers. You can toggle the page up and down to scroll through them.
Once you have found your new coach, please select their coaching card. Here, you can read through their qualifications and their specialties.
Once you have selected your new coach, you will be asked to confirm this choice or select to keep your current coach.
Please make sure this new coach is the coach you would like to select before making these changes. Once you have confirmed this change, please select Change Coach.
You will be redirected back to your settings tab. If you would like to view your new coach, please navigate back to your Chat tab, where you can see the changes committed.
Please don't forget to schedule a consult with your new coach right away! Please if you would like more information on this.
View ArticleCongrats! You've finished Onboarding!
With Vida, you can now schedule a consultation with your Coach at your own convenience! You can find this new feature in your Today tab on the date of your existing consultation. When you select your appointment, you will see the option to Cancel, Reschedule or Add to Calendar. In this article, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to use this feature.
At this point, you have selected a program to work in, and have selected your Health Coach. Now it’s time to schedule your first appointment!
In order to do this, you will need to select the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner, next to the Now Tab. Look for the action that says Set your First Consultation. It should be the first action on your list.
Next, a new screen will open up that will show a calendar and below that a list of available time slots. Choosing a day on the calendar will display the availabletime slots for that day. Simply, pick a day that works for you, and then pick a time slot.
Once you have selected the time you would like to meet, press the tab Book Appointment located at the bottom of the screen and a confirmation screen will appear showing you the date and time you will meet with your coach.
You can add your appointment to your calendar by pressing Add to Calendar. Or press the back button located at the top left-hand corner of the screen. You will be taken back to the Today tab. You can see your scheduled appointment here. You will receive a confirmation email as well, along with a reminder before the scheduled appointment. You can select your appointment on the Today tab, and add it to your calendar.
What about Follow Up Consults?
You can choose 15-minute or 30-minute consultations depending on what you need to review with your coach!

How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Consultation
*If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can always message your coach in the chat section with a time that is more convenient for your schedule.*
After you click on your appointment, you will see the option to Cancel, Reschedule, or Add to Calendar.
Cancel will completely cancel your call. It will then be up to you or your coach to reach out and reschedule through the Chat tab. Reschedule will take you to a screen with your Coach's Availability. Here you can select another time for your appointment that is convenient for you.
And that's it! It is now more convenient than ever to book a consultation with your coach!
View ArticleSetting Up Your Weekly Goals!
Start by opening the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner. Next, search for the Trophy icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
This is your Goals Tab. Here, you can create weekly goals.
If you have an iOS device:
This will appear as + Add Weekly Goal located in the middle of the screen.
8 different categories will appear in the middle of the screen. Simply select 1 of these categories, and you will be taken to a new page opening up different trackers within that category. Then select 1 of those trackers.
Here you can modify how many times a week you’d like to keep track of, and the amount you would like to keep track of. Once you’re done, simply press Create Weekly Goal located at the bottom of the screen.
You will be taken back to your weekly goal page. Look! You have a new goal!To return back to the Today tab, simply press the X icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. You will see your new tracker!
If you have an Android device:
Press the + icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
8 different categories will appear above the + icon. Simply select 1 of these categories, and you will be taken to a new page opening up different trackers within that category.

The Today tab contains your lists of tasks to complete for the day. Try to win the day by completing all of your tasks.
The Today tab in the Vida app is the place you will spend most of your time providing important information about your daily activities to your coach. Vida's app allows you to record and track various information either manually through the app, or you can choose to connect a tracking device that will automatically record and track your daily progress.

You can also set goals for the program you are currently in, enter in new metrics for the day, track food, and so much more!
These goals may change as you find that you want to work on something new from one week to the next. If you do you want to change these, you can always press the Trophy icon located at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Here, you can edit, delete, or add new weekly goals.
However, if you do want to change trackers your coach has turned on for, just notify your coach and they can adjust this for you. Use the Today tab to remind yourself what you are working towards and the actions you need to take in order to accomplish these goals.

There may be times when you want to ask your coach something between your scheduled meetings. Or perhaps your coach wants to check up and see how your week is going.
Your Chat tab is what you'll use between scheduled meetings. A response from your coach shouldn't take more than 24 hrs.

Coaches also have a range of content cards that contain everything from Mediation tips to Cooking tips to Work out tips that they will send to you. If you have a question for them, reach out!
Your coach will also use this tool to keep track of your daily progress. When you log your metrics using the Today Tab, they will appear here as well.If log your sleep, or how much water you've had, this will appear in the Chat tab too!
If you log photos of your food, this will also appear in the ChatTab. This helps provide your coach with a better picture of the meals you're having.
If you are on aniOS device, you can also search for past content cards or messages from your coach by using the SpyGlass located at the top right-hand corner.
Simply select the icon, and type in a Keyword such as Mindful. This will help you find previous Messages or Content Cards your coach has sent to you.
If you are using an Android device, you will have to scroll up.You will always have access to all your previous Messages.
We all live busy lives. Sometimes, you might receive a message from your coach, and it can be too time-consuming to reply. You can also respond by using our Emoji feature. This is located next to the camera icon on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Simply select the Thumbs-Up Icon, and 6 different reactions will appear.This lets you send a quick reply if you're on the go, and makes it as easier to respond to personalized messages from your coach.
Note:If you're working with both a therapist and a health coach, the Team Icon (as shown below) will appear in the top left-hand corner of your screen.
Simply tap on this icon to switch to the person you want to speak to!

Can I talk to my coach on the Desktop App?
Yes, now you can! However, you will still need to download the mobile app in order to use all of the features that Vida Health provides to you.
All you have to do is log into your account on your laptop byYou will see your chat history on the right side of your browser.
You can send your coach messages, emojis, photos and videos from your desktop! Just type your message to your coach, and press Send!
View ArticleWelcome to the Vida Settings Tab!
There may be times you might need to edit your account information, connect a new device, or request a new coach. You can always change your information using the Settings tab.
To find your Settings, select the Me icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Press the Gear icon located at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
A new window will pop up. Here, you will see a list of the different things you can do.
If you’d like to edit your Profile Picture, click on the photo and you will have the option to take a new photo, or choose a photo from your camera library.
In case you need to change your password, click on Change Password.
If you would like to change your Notifications, select Push Notifications Settings. Here, you can filter what notifications you wish to receive. You will have the option to filter between All Messages, Summary of all Messages, Coach Only, or None.
In case you need to change your payment information, look for Payment Options. Here you can change how your subscription plans, your credit card, or set up your Apple Pay
If you have a Redeem Code, you can also input this information here.
In case you want to request a new coach, click Request New Coach. You can change your coach at any time. One of our Coach Leads will follow up with you in order to help you find the coach which best suits you.
If you want to connect a new device to help you log your data, press the tab Connect Devices & Apps. Vida connects to a number of different devices, all to help you keep track of your metrics. You can select from BodyTrace Scale, Fitbit, Garmin Connect, iHealth, Jawbone UP, Microsoft Band, Misfit Wearables, Nokia Health Mate, Omron Wellness, Polar Flow, Qardio, Runkeeper, Strava, & Cohero Heath.
If you're using an iOS device you can also connect to Apple Health.
In case you need to figure out if you’re on the last version of the App, your version number will be located at the bottom of your Settings list.
You can wish to verify your account to protect your information, we have two option. You can verify your email address by tapping Verify Account. This will send an email to the account you register with a 5 digit code. Simply copy and paste this number into the field labeled Enter Code, and your email will be secured. You can also turn on 2-Factor Verification which will send a text message to your phone with a 5 digit code. Copy this number into the field labeled Enter Code, and you can enable this security feature.
If you ever need to contact our support staff you can always email them directly.
If you ever want to log out of Vida, just press Log Out and you will be logged out of the app.

The Journey tab lets you visually see the progress you have made! Here, you can see how well you’re doing through different charts and graphs.
Your Journey Tab can be found when tapping the Flag icon located on the bottom of your screen, right between the Chat tab and your Me tab.

Your Program will be represented at the top of the Journey Tab. Just press the i icon located at the top left-hand corner to view your program.
You will be able to visually see all the progress you've made with every metric you track. Each tracker you have open in on your Today tab will have its own graph or chart. For instance, you can see all your recorded Steps, Food Calorie Intake, oz of Water, Exercise and whatever else you track all right here.
The Journey tab also contains your previously completed lessons. In case you ever need to go back to a lesson, just scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Just tap on the completed lesson you’d like to revisit, and you will regain access to it!
Now you can see how far you’ve come in your main goal!

Does the Journey Tab display on the Desktop app?
Yes! you can also track your progress now on the desktop app.
Simply go toand log into your account. Next, search for thetoolbaron theleft-handsideof the browser.
Then click the Mountain and Flag Icon. This is is your Journey Tab which can also be found on your mobile app.
If you are actively logging metrics from your Today Tab a week-long chart will be available to view.
If you have a tracker that is tied to your program, you will also see this next to your active program behavior.
You can also add new Habits on your goals, by clicking + Habits located on the bottom of your Tracker.

Vida is capable of tracking calorie intake, steps, exercise, meals, heart rate, sleep and much more! Curious about tracking something? Just ask your coach!
Here, you will learn how to Add new metrics,Edit/Delete metrics, and how to Edit/Delete Previous Information!
How to Add New Metrics:
In order to add new metrics to your trackers start by going to the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner.
Here
Search for the tracker you’d like to add to.
For Example Logging Exercise
Simply press on the + button at the right-hand side of the screen associated with the Log Exercise tracker. A new window will open up asking for the Exercise Duration.
Let’s say your workout was 120 minutes, simply use your keyboard to type this # in. Then press Done.
Next, in the box below this number, you will be asked for your Exercise Intensity. Let’s say you REALLY sweat in this 120-minute workout. Simply press on this, and search for Very High. Then press Done.
Once this is completed, you will be asked for the Exercise Type. So for your Very High, 120-minute workout, the Type of workout was the Running. Press on the Exercise Type, and then search for Running in the options provided (Other is an option too).
Next! Look for the Blue bar at the bottom of your screen that will either say Add or Log depending on the mobile device you are using.
That’s it! You’ll be taken back to the Today tab with your workout fully entered. Just look for the next to that tracker.
Each metric will be a little different depending on what you are trying to keep track of.
How to Edit & Delete Metrics:
If you log data incorrectly you can easily edit/delete your entry. Follow these instructions on how to do so.
Note- You cannot currently edit metrics that are synced in by third-party apps such as Fitbit or Apple Health. If any of this data comes in incorrectly, or you are seeing duplication of metrics, please reach out to [email protected] and let us know!
Also, Note -You cannot currently edit metrics on the Android platform. If you need to make changes to a metric, you will need to delete the item and enter it again.
Sometimes, it just happens that things are logged incorrectly. When this is the case, you can easily edit what you've logged.
Simply start by going into the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner. Search for the Tracker you entered the incorrect information into. Let’s keep using Logging Exercise as an example.
Select the + or and a new window will pop up. There are two sections located at the top of the screen, which allows you to either Input or view at your tracker’s History.You will have to press on the History tab.
Here, you can see the tracker’s History for the day, along with a Timestamp. If you mistakenly typed in the wrong # for the duration for your exercise, you can edit or delete the information from here.
To Edit for iOS
If you're on an iOS device, you can Edit the recently entered information. If you are an Android device, please scroll down to the section How to Delete.
To Edit the incorrect information press on the incorrect information, and a new window will open up. This will let you edit the information you have already inputted. Once you’re done, press Update located at the bottom of the screen.
How to Delete
To Delete the incorrect information simply follow these instructions:
For iOS
For iOS Devices simply swipe Left, and the Delete option will become available. Just press Delete and this information will be erased.
For Android Devices
Simply press the little Trash Can icon located on the right-hand side, and this information will be erased.
How to Edit Previous Information
If you need to go back to a previous day because you forgot to log your Friday Workout, and it’s Tuesday, start by going to the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
For iOS Devices:
Look for the date located at the top of the screen, and press on it. A drop-down menu will appear with the past calendar days. You can go back and forth between the days swiping either left or right. You can select the number for the day you missed here. YourToday Tab will be redirected to that day.
For Android Devices:
Look for the little Calendar icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. It will be next to the Trophy icon. Simply select this, and the calendar will open up to the most current day.
You can change the year by selecting the # thatsits on top of the weekday.You can change the month by toggling between the < & >.
Then simply select the day you wish to edit. Once done, press OK, and your Today will be redirected to that day.

Start setting your goals!
These habits may change as you find that you want to work on something new from one week to the next. If you do want to change these habits, notify your coach and they can adjust your habits for you. Use this tab to remind yourself what you are working towards and the actions you need to take in order to accomplish these goals.
Your Habits will display in different colors as well. If you click into a habit, you can view the streak history, as well as when your reminders are set.

Meter Reader is a feature in our app that allows you to take a photo of your blood glucose meter or blood pressure meter and our app will automatically detect and record the reading directly in your account!
Logging your Blood Glucose with Meter Reader!
1. Open your app and go to your Blood Sugar Tracker
2. Once the tracker is open, find theMeter Readercamera icon on the tracker window, below the area, you would manually enter your metrics. Press on this icon.
3. Choose the device that you are using to measure your blood glucose levels.
3. You will be taken to a new screen with an outline of your device over the camera view in the app. Simply align the app with your device and hold it steady so that the app can read and take a record of the results on your device.
4. Once the app has read your device's display it will show you the results for you to confirm that the app reading is correct. Here you will also be able to add the date and time that the reading was taken.
You can also change the meter type at any time by choosingChange Meter
If the app did not get the correct reading the first time, simply choose Wrong Values?At the bottom and you will be able to manually correct the value entered.
Once you are satisfied with the results, chooseConfirm Reading
5. Next, choose the time period when you originally took the reading and pressLog
6. Now you will be able to see you reading in the History section of the tracker!

Start by opening the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner. Next, search for the Trophy icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
This is your Goals Tab. Here, you can create yourMain Goal.
You can also swipe left on your Now Tab to set your Main Goal! Just press Start, located at the bottom of the screen on your Now Tab.
*Please note: If you are in one of our Respiratory Programs, your main goal will be to Use Your Controller Inhaler.*
There will be two areas to fill in. Current Controller Inhaler and Controller Inhaler Goal.
In the box, Current Controller Inhaler, you will need to enter in the number of puffs you typically take during the week. This means for the past 7 days if you have only used your inhaler 10 times, type this number in.
In the box labeled Controller Inhaler Goal, you will type in your total weekly puffs, based on what your doctor has prescribed. To calculate what your total weekly puffs will be multiple your prescribednumber of daily puffs by 7.
For example, if you have been prescribed to use your inhaler 2 times a day with 2 puffs each time you use your inhaler the total puffs for that day will be 4. Next, you will multiply 4 by 7 (7 for 7 days of the week). This will equal 28 and will be the number you enter in the box Controller Inhaler Goal.
Once you're done, simply tap Set Goal located at the bottom of the screen. You will be redirected back to the Today Tab.
Now every time you use your Cohero device, your puffs will be logged and displayed in your Vida Controller Inhaler tracker on your Today screen!

Start by tapping Get Started located on the bottom of the screen.
You will be directed to a new page. Here! You can either register with your Email Address. You will be asked to enter the following information in:
First and Last name
Phone number
Zip
Birthday
Password
Press Next when you have completed this. You will then be asked to verify your email address. This is NOT mandatory and can be completed later if you want. To do this, press Skip for Now, or Click Here! to learn how to verify your information. If you have chosen to verify your email, select Next at the bottom of the screen.
You will be redirected to the next page. Here you will enter your weight, height, and the gender you recognize.
*If you have iOS device, you can select Fill with Apple Health.If you have information already stored, this will be pulled into the Vida App. Tap Next located at the bottom of the screen.
The app will then ask if Vida is offered to you through anorganization, or ifI'll pay for Vida myself.
If Vida Health is offered to you through your Organization, please select Yes. You can then search for this on the next screen. You might be asked to verify your information or enter an invite code. Once you're done, press Enter.
If you would like to skip this, press I'll pay for Vida myself. If you have a promo code, you can enter this on the next screen, or press Skip to move to the next window.
The next screen will ask if you have any of the following health conditions.
If you do have health-related conditions, please select all that apply on this screen. However, you do not need to check anything off if nothing is applicable to you. To scroll through the programs, toggle the screen Up or Down. Press Nextwhen you're ready to move on.
You will then begin with your Program Matching. This provides an overall direction, and your coach will work to apply it towards your own circumstances; thus, allowing you to create a personalized plan.
So, what is your main health goal?
This could be something as simple as boosting your exercise routine, getting better sleep, or managing the conditions you already have. You can select one of the options listed.
The Vida app will begin to match you to the best program recommended for you based on your current health status, and your wellness goals. You can also scroll down the page to view other programs available to you.
You can also filter the programs by clicking Show By located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. You can sort by All, Wellness, or Conditions.
Once you've selected your program, a quick overview of what to expect will appear. This will include the inclusion criteria in order to participate in that program.
After you've read through this, click Continue.
The app will then let you know your program has been verified!
Depending on the program you've picked, the app will ask what you would like to focus on first. Select one of the activities listed, and this will provide your coach with a better understanding of what you wish to accomplish in your wellness journey.
Congrats! Press Continue located at the bottom of the screento move on.
Now, let's look at your availability!
The next window will display 4 hour time frames ranging from 6 AM to 10 PM. This will let your coach know when you can typically be open for your Video Consultations. You can tap on any of the times which make sense for you. Once you're done, tap Next located at the bottom of the screen.
The final question you will need to answer before you're able to select your coach is what type of coaching style would you prefer. This is just asking if you need someone who motivates you every day! Or someone who gives you new ideas, and challenges you.
You can select up to 2 coaching styles. Then, press Next located at the bottom of the screen.
You will be given a list of coaches who match your preferences and availability. To toggle between the coaches, swipe either up or down on each of the coach's photos. Each coach will provide a small sentence, letting you know how excited they are to work with you.
You can read through their specialties, their bio, and their certifications by swiping under the different sections on a coach. You can read through their specialties, their bio, and their certifications by tapping on the Coach's Card.
Here, you can read through their specialties, their bio, and their certifications by scrolling down. Once you've found your coach, tap Choose Coach located underneath the coach's photo.
Amazing!You will be asked to enable your notifications. Please press Enable Notifications in order to ensure this setting is given permission. Otherwise, you will not be notified when your coach reaches out to you.
You will then be directed to your Today Tab! Now you can begin your Vida experience. We look forward to partnering with you and your wellness goals.
Can I create my account on my computer?
Yes! You can indeed!
However, you will still need to download the Vida App, which can be found Here in order to gain access to your Coach.
Start by Clicking Here This will open a new window in your web browser. Here, you will enter the following information:
First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth
Email address
Password
Once you have inputted this, please read through our terms and conditions. Click the box once you're done.
You will then be able to press the tab, Create Account.
The next screen will ask you to verify the email address you used to create your account. This is NOT mandatory and can be completed later if you would like. To do this, press Skip for Now, or Click Here! to learn how to verify your information.If you have chosen to verify your email, select Submitat the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
You will be redirected to the next page. Here you will enter your weight, height, and the gender you recognize. Once you're done, press Continue.
You will then be asked if Vida is offered to you through your employer or health plan. Simply type in your organization name to locate them, and then press Next: Choose Program to move to the next screen.
Once you have verified your paying organization, a pop-up will appear congratulating you on verifying your account! To move forward, press Let's Get Started located at the bottom of the pop-up!
The next screen will ask if you have any of the following health conditions. If you do have health-related conditions, please select all that apply on this screen.
However, you do not need to check anything off if this does not apply to you. Press No Conditions, or Continue whenyou're ready to move on.

If you would like more information on what each program has to offer, select the Program Card and scroll down. This will provide a quick overview of what to expect. This will include the inclusion criteria in order to participate in that program.
You can also toggle between the Program Cards by pressing the < & > icons. You can also select the X icon in the top right-hand corner of the Program Card in order to exit out of this card.
You can also scroll down in each of the Program Cards to read more information if you would like as well.After you've located the Program you wish to begin with, please press Select Program in the right-hand corner of the screen.
The next screen will let you know your program has been verified!

This article explains how to navigate the Now Tab in the Vida app.
The Now tab recommends specific actions tailored to you. Rather than a long list of to-dos, we suggest the single most important task for you, here and now. When you open your Vida app, you’ll know exactly where to start and what to do. Your Habits will also display in the Now tab as well. If you'd like to learn more about your habits click here.
To begin working on your recommendation action, all you have to do is press theStartbutton and you will be taken directly to that action to begin.
As soon as you have completed your action, the app will bring you back to the Now tab and mark that action as complete. In its place, you'll see your next recommended action!
You don't have to work on the first recommendation action shown to you, of course, you can alwaysSwipe Leftto scroll through all the actions available to you through that day. You can also use theArrowButtons located on either side of theStartbutton to move back and forth through all of your recommended actions.
When you get to the end of your list of unfinished actions, a page will display allowing you to go back to the beginning of the list by pressingGo Back
Instead of having to scroll through endless trackers and actions, you can simply log your metrics and actions directly from the Now tab. When you hit your goals, your Now tab will let you know (and even celebrate with you)!
When you have completed all your actions for the day, you're done! You can pressExplore Moreand we will take you to your Journey Tab so you can track your progress.
If you don't like to Now tab, you can always go back to theToday Tabat any time and view all of your actions and trackers in one place.
When you open your Vida app, you will see a new feature labeled Inspiration for Today posted on your Now Tab. This a daily inspirational quote geared to inspire you to keep moving forward!

View ArticleWelcome to Habits
On the latest update of the Vida app, you might notice some changes in your experiences with weekly health goals. When clicking on the Now Tab you will see a list of Habits. Look familiar?
What are Habits?
What is a habit? Well, these are the routines we adopt in our everyday lives, which consist of our previous behaviors, responses, or motivations we can act upon unknowingly. Habits are established through a history of repetition, moving towards a cued response in an individual's environment; thus, ultimately becoming autonomous for an individual (Orbell & Verplanken, "The Strength of Habit", 2015). This behavior could be something as small as choosing a candy bar for your afternoon snack instead of an apple.So, how do we create healthy routines? How do we walk past the vending machine during our break, and find fresh produce when we have such limited time? This is something you and your coach will try to work on together.
What are Habits in Vida?
These are the weekly goals that you and your coach set each time you have a consultation. Previously, these could be found in your wellness plan, but now we've made them front and center!
In addition to the increased visibility of your goals, each day that you've planned to engage in a habit, it will appear in the Now tab.
You can also set your own habits outside of your consultations with your coach. You and your coach can set reminders for your habits as well. These reminders can go out often as you'd like.
NOTE- Please remember to turn on your notifications in order to receive them.
Each habit will now be able to be tracked. Whenever you complete a habit for the day, check it off, and your coach can watch your progress.
How do I create Habits?
Start by opening the Now Tab. There will be 2 sections. The 1st box labeled What's Next, will contain all of your actions ranging from messaging your coach to logging your food. The 2nd box labeled Today's Habits, will contain all of your personalized habits for that day.
Start by tapping Add a Habitlocated towards the bottom of the screen.
You will be directed to a new screen. This is theHabits window. Here, you can create new habits, add recommended habits, or edit the ones you've already created.
Recommended Habits
Recommended habits are automatically generated, and are really just examples for you to start with. They are populated based on the program you're currently in or suggested behaviors you might want to work on.
You can also toggle between the recommended habits by pressing the < & > icons.
If you want to add a recommended Habit, simply press the bar at the bottom of the screen which states, Add this Habit. You will see this appear on your Now Tab.
Editing Recommended Habits
If you want to add a recommended habit, but wish edit the time, for example, start by selecting Edit in the bottom right-hand corner of the recommended habit card.
Here, you can edit the following fields: When I will do it, What will I do, Remind me at, and On these days.
If you'd like to edit when you do this action, simply tap When will I do it. A list of options ranging from Before bed, to When I'm stressed, to When I'm thirsty. Just swipe up to scroll through the list.
You can also search for actions by using the search bar located at the top of the screen.
Select Done when you have fully entered in when you will do this action, and you will be redirected back to the Habit card.
Now select What will I do. Here, you can define what action you want to work on. You can pick any answer from playing tennis, adding vegetables to your meal, go to the gym. You can also search for actions by using the search bar located at the top of the screen. When you've found your action, please press Done located at the bottom of the screen.
Next, you can select the Time and Days of the Week you wish to be reminded about this Habit under the section Remind Me At.
If you want to change the Time of day you wish to be reminded at tap next to the time slot. Then scroll to the specific time you want to be reminded, and press Done.
You can also Turn Off the reminder by swiping left on the Circle Icon located on the right-hand side of the Time.
You can also change what days of the week you wish to be reminded on by tapping on any of the days, or you can leave all 7 days of the week. The top of the habit will change based on the days of the week you select.
Once you have edited this habit, please press Save located at the bottom of the screen. You will see your new Habit card displayed on the Now Tab.
How to Create a New Habit
Don't like any of the recommended habits you see? Don't worry, you can create your own. Start by tapping the Add a Habit card located on your Now Tab. You will be directed to the habit card creation section, and then tap + Create Your Own Habit located at the bottom of the screen.
The next screen will ask you What Habit Do You Want to Create?Well, what habit do you want to create? This could be something you and your coach have discussed or could be something as simple as reminding yourself to lock the door before you leave your apartment. Whatever it might be, enter it here!
Start by typing in your habit in the Search bar located next to the spyglass. Recommended habits will appear, but you can type in your own if you don't see one you like. Once you've completed your entry, select Done located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
You will then be asked When will you do your habit? When do expect to complete your habit? After work, at the grocery store? This is something you and your coach should have discussed previously, or it can be something you wish to create on your own. Once you've completed this, press Done.
You will then be directed to the next screen asking you How Often will you Complete this Habit?Just tap any of the days of the week you wish to be reminded about this Habit. Once you're done, press Looks Good located at the bottom of the screen.
The next screen will ask if you Want to be Reminded about new your habit at a specific time? You can also change the Time of day you wish to be reminded at tap next to the time slot. Then scroll to the specific time you want to be reminded, and press Done.
You can also toggle off the reminder if you like by swiping left on the circle icon located next to the Time. Once you're done, please press Got It located at the bottom of the screen.
You should see your new Habit Card located on your Now Tab.
Marking Off Your Habits
Once you've added a few habits to your Now Tab, you will begin to mark them off as you complete them. This lets your coach know how you have been working on maintaining your healthy habits, and lets them see the progress you've made towards your wellness goals.
Every incomplete habit will appear at the start of the wheel on your Now Tab. You can toggle back and forth to mark the habits as completed by pressing the + icon on each of the Habit cards. After marking them off the habit card will let you know what your streak is.
If you'd like to see what your Streak is for particular Habits tap into the completed habit, and you can see what your completion rate is. This will display how frequently you might have completed this habit throughout the week. The more you complete your habits, and mark them off, the higher theStreak Number will go!
Adding an Action to Help Motivate You!
If you might need a little Push to help motivate you on your wellness goals, you can add further actions to help develop healthier routines.Your coach will also attach personalized, supporting actions to each of individual habit. Actions are intended to help you succeed in developing this new habit by providing the necessary resources and tips.
Click into the completed habit you wish to work on, and tap + Add Action located at the bottom of the screen.
You will be asked to enter in a specific action to help you with your habit. You can type in anything you think might help push you along within your wellness journey. Once you're done press Add located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
You will then see your newly created Action added to your Habit.You can also see all of your habits on the Me Tab.

Open your Vida app, and then click on your Me Tablocated in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Then look for the Gear Icon located in the top right-hand corner of your screen. This is your Settings Tab. To find more information about your Settings, please Click Here!
Look for the tab labeled Verify Account. This will let you verify your email address. The verification email will go directly to the email address you have registered your account with. Please make sure to check your Spam Folder as well.
You should receive an email similar to this which includes a 5-digit code.
Enter this code on your Vida App, and then press Done. If the code sent to you does not work because it has timed out, please press Resend and monitor your email inbox. Once you're typing in this number, please press Next located at the bottom of the screen.
You will be redirected back to your Settings Tab.
Let's Verify Your Mobile Number
Open your Vida app, and then click on your Me Tablocated in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Then look for the Gear Icon located in the top right-hand corner of your screen. This is your Settings Tab. To find more information about your Settings, please Click Here!
Look for the tab labeled 2-Factor Verification.Swipe the Circle icon to the right, and you will be directed to this screen.
A text message will be sent to the number you have registered your account with containing a 5-digit code.
Enter in this 5 Digit Code into your Vida App, and when you are finished, please tap Done. If this code does not work, please press Resend, and a new 5-Digit Code will be sent to your mobile device. Once you are completely finished, select Next located at the bottom of the screen.
You will be directed back to back to your Settings tab with your 2 Factor Verification turned on.
You do not need to verify your contact information if you do not wish to. If you do not have a phone number attached to your account, please contact our support team at in order to add one.

Where can I leave feedback?
Start by clicking the Chat tab on your Vida App.

Next, click on your Coach's name located at the top of the screen. This will bring up your coach's Specialties, Bio, and Certifications. This is the same page you saw when selecting your coach during onboarding. Look towards the bottom of the page.
Here, two fields will display. You can either Request a New Coach or Leave Feedback. If you wish to Request a New Coach, please Click Here for more information.
Leaving Feedback
To leave feedback for your coach, tap the Leave Feedback bar located at the bottom of the screen. Here, you can rate your coach on a scale from 1 to 5, just press the star you give your coach. You can also leave Feedback for your Coach, and for the Vida App! Just tap into any of the fields and let us know how your Vida experience is going.
Once you're finished typing in your response, select Leave Feedback located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. A pop up will appear, letting you know we've received your comments.

A Quick Overview of the Desktop Application
Logging In

Once you get to the login screen, you can simply use your email address and password to log into and access your account.
Please for SSO instructions.
Consultations
Now you can schedule your consultations in the web app. If you have multiple coaches, you will see them listed here as well. You can create consults, reschedule them, and cancel them.
Once you've booked your consultation, you can view your next appointment. You can also see your future appointments if your coach has set up reoccuring appointments, and see your previously completed appointments as well.
Journey
The journey section is the same information you have come to expect from the mobile app. Here you can view, edit, or mark off your habits, and view any progress you have made towards your goals.
Viewing and Editing Habits
When you first log into your account, you will be brought to the Journey section with a view of your habits. You canAdd, Modify,Complete,orDelete
ToAdda habit
Press on the + Habit Button
Set when you will do the habit
Set what you will do in the second box
Choose which days you would like to do the habit on.
Set a reminder if necessary. This will send a notification through your browser window and app when it's time for you to complete your habit.
Once you are satisfied with your setting, clickSave
ToModifyyour habits:
Click on the Habit you wish to change
Click on theEdit Habitbutton. (pencil icon)
In the popup window, make any change you wish to the habit.
When satisfied with your change, clickSave
ToDeleteyour habit:
Click on the habit you wish to remove
Click on theDelete button
Confirm that you want to delete the habit
Delete!
ToComplete your habit
To complete a habit, simply press on the emptyplusbutton
Once you have completed a habit you will see a congratulations popup appear!
Viewing your Data
The Vida web portal makes it easy for you to log in and quickly view your progress against any of your views. Simply scroll down to the graphs section and then hover over a point to see it's value. You will be able to view your most recent trends from this page.
Content
In the content section, you will be able to find and view any lesson that has been sent to you by your coach. You will be able to see Lesson listed by category and by its completion status.
To view a lesson's content, simply click on that lesson and it will pop up in a new screen for you to view.
Chat
The chat section is the place in the web portal where you can go to catch up with your coach briefly as well. Whenever your coach sends you a message or content, you can view that information here.
Please Note- At this time metric information is not populated in the web portal chat, so you will not see that information in the conversation.
Sending a Message
Sending a message is as easy as sending one through the Mobile app. Simply type in your message and press enter and that will go to the coach straight away.
Emojis
Pressing on the Emoji icon will bring up a full list of available emojis that you can send to your coach!
Sending a photo
Sending a picture from your laptop or desktop is simple as well. Simply click on the photo icon and then choose the image you wish to send. It's that easy.
Me Tab
In the Me tab, you can now make edits to your Profile. Here, you can edit the image on your account, your basic information, your timezone, gender, height, and health conditions.
You can also connect your 3rd party device accounts to your Vida Desktop app. However, in order to verify the device has been connected you will need to log into the Vida Health Mobile App.
Logging Out
When you are done all you have to do is click on the Logout button at the bottom screen of the portal.

If you create an account using a personal email address, you will not able to sign in using SSO.
Now users logging into their account through the web portal have the option to sign in with their companies SSO function. In order to do so simply follow the steps below.

Choose your Organization
Next, you will be asked to choose the organization you are with. Simply type in the company's name and choose it from the drop-down list. If you are not sure if SSO is available to you for Vida, please reach out to your employer or organization.

This portal will look different depending on the technology that your company uses to authenticate SSO.

To get started using the Thought tracker, just look forBalancing Thoughts in yourToday Tab to get started
Using your tracker
Once you’re inside your tracker, there are a few things to know.
First, the questions we ask will be based on your knowledge around balancing your thoughts. Reading (and completing) certain lessons will unlock more questions in the thought tracker. For example, when you read the Thinking Traps lesson, the Thinking Traps question in the thought tracker will begin appearing. Likewise, when you read Finding an Antidote, the final reframing and mood question will appear.
Second, you can find more information about each question by clicking the ibutton next to the text. This will bring up a page with guidance and prompts for how to answer the question.
Third (and finally), clicking the blue Okaybutton that appears at the bottom of each question is how you complete your question. Clicking Okaywill automatically take you to the next question.
Now, let’s talk about the different questions:
How are you?
When you first open the Thought Tracker you will be askedHow are you? Simply click the face and text that most closely aligns with how you are feeling at the moment. Once you make a selection the system will automatically advance to the next question. If at any point in time you want to change your questions just hit the< button at the top left-hand corner of the screen to continue
Recent Thoughts
You will then be asked, What is running through your head?Here, you can write freely about how you might be feeling at this moment. When you start typing you will also see a dropdown of your 5 most recently logged thoughts. You can conveniently select from this list if you are experiencing the same thought again.
Situation
After you write down what's going on in your head, you will be askedWhat was happening when you had that thought?Once again, please use this section to write freely about what was going on in your life at that time. If you have used the tracker before, the top 5 most recent answers for this section will be displayed for you to choose.
Emotions
In the next section, you will be asked to tell us a little bit more about the emotions that came up for you during this situation. Simply tap on one or more emotions that correspond most closely with the way you are feeling in that moment.
Thinking Traps

Once you have completed theThinking TrapsLesson in your Vida program, you will be able to then selectthese thinking traps in your Thought Tracker. You can select one or more trap that relates to your thoughts and emotions for the day.
Reframe
Once you have completed theFind an Antidotelesson in your Vida program, and you have been able to properly identify and mark yourThinking Trapsyou will be askedWhat's a more realistic way of thinking about the situation without the thinking trap?This will give a chance to think about the situation and then write out in your own words how you could have thought about the situation without falling into a thinking trap.
How are you now?
Once you have reframed your thinking without using traps, you will then be asked again how you are feeling. This will give you one more chance to express your mood after you have gone through your thinking exercises.
Setting a Weekly Thought Goal
Now, you can also set a weekly thought goal! Once you and your coach have established your wellness plan, you can create your own weekly goals. Start by opening the Vida app, and selecting the Today Tab.
Next, tap the Trophy Icon located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select to +Add Weekly Goal. 8different categories will appear in the middle of the screen. Look for the Balancing Thoughts Category.
You will be taken to a new page opening up differenttrackerswithin this category. Simply select Thoughts.Here you can modify how many times a week you’d like to keep track of, and the amount you would like to keep track of. Once you’re done, simply pressCreate Weekly Goallocated at thebottom of the screen.
You will be taken back to your weekly goal page.Look! You have a new Thought goal!To return back to theTodaytab, simply press theXicon located at thetop right-hand cornerof the screen. You will see your new tracker!
To view your Thought history, look for the sitting on top of the tracker.
All of your previously entered thoughts will be stored here. The more you log, the more you will have to share with your coach. You can also log thoughts directly through this screen by pressing the + icon next to the Log Thoughts tab.

Once you've completed onboarding, and have scheduled an appointment with your coach a reminder will appear on your chat tab letting you know of your upcoming appointment.
You should also receive an email about your upcoming appointment.
*We do suggest reading through this article, Best practices before starting your video chat! before accepting your video chat.
After you have read through this article, please make sure you are Logged in to your Vida Health App. If you are not, the video chat will not go through.
For iOS
If you using an iOS device, the video call will come through in 2 different ways.
If your Phone is Locked
The Video call will ring like a phone call. Please slide the > icon to answer the call. Once you have completed this the call screen will appear.
The call will remain on this screen until you select the Vida option. This will enable the Video Chat feature.
If your Phone is Not Locked
The Video call will ring like a phone call. Please select the icon to acceptthe call. Once you have completed this the call screen will appear.
The call will remain on this screen until you select the Vida option. This will enable the Video Chat feature.
For Android
The video call will come through in only 1 way. Please make sure you are logged into the Vida app in order to receive the video chat call.
In order to answer the call, you will need to select the camera icon to answer the video call.
Please make sure you have also enabled your camera and microphone permissions in order to accept the Video Call. Once you have done this you will be able to enter the Video Call.

View ArticleScheduling a consult using the Web
Start by going to Vida.com/clients and log into your account.
Look for the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen.
Look for the calendar icon, and click this. This will be your consultation tab.
Here, you will be able to see all of your next appointment, upcoming appointments if your coach has scheduled multiple, and your previous consults.
Start selecting Schedule located at the bottom of the consultation card.
This will bring up your coach's availability for the next 3 months.
Here, you can toggle between the months by selecting the or arrows.
Next, you can select the day you wish to book an appointment by clicking on the number. The date number will be highlighted once this occurs.

You can view the variety of hours by scrolling up or down on the appointment section.
Once you have found an appointment, simply select that time slot. The appointment will then be highlighted once the time has been selected, confirming this slot for you.
Next, please select the Book Appointment option located on the bottom right-hand corner of the scheduling feature.
If you have booked your appointment correctly, you should this success pop up appear.
Your consultation should be booked!
To cancel your appointment, select the 3 dots located on the right-hand side of the booked appointment.
To see your Upcoming Appointments, you can click on Upcoming located at the top of the scheduling feature.
To see your previously completed consultations, select Past located at the top of the scheduling feature.
However, in order to accept the Video Consultation, you will need to download the Vida Health app onto your mobile device, which can be located Here.

We currently support this feature on:

Start by going to vida.com/clients and log into your account.
If you have an upcoming consultation, this will be displayed under the consultation tab.
When it's time for your consultation, please make sure you have a comfortable place to sit, and possibly a quiet location, if this is possible.
Please also make sure you are not logged into your account on your mobile device while currently being logged into your account on the desktop application.
This could create 2 call notifications and might create issues for you depending on your network speed.
When it is time for your consultation, and your coach has started the video chat, this notification will appear on your browser.
You can either decline the video call by pressing the red X icon.
Or, you can accept the video consult by selecting the green Video Camera icon.
Once you have selected to accept the video consult, a new window will open on your browser.
If you have never accepted the video consult previously, you will need to give the browser permissions.
First, you will need to either allow or block the microphone permissions.
If you've already selected to accept the video consult, the camera permissions should be enabled. You should be able to verify this by clicking on the Lock icon on the top left-hand corner of the URL in the video consult window.
At this point, you should be in the video chat with your coach. Welcome to your first video consultation with your coach!
I want to turn off my camera and mute myself
Once you have entered the video consultation, you can disable your camera if you just don't want the camera on,disable your mic if you're hearing too much background noise, and end the call.
If you want to turn off the video camera, select the camera icon on the consultation window to disable it.
You can verify your camera has been disabled by looking to the left-hand corner of the screen. The photo on your account will be listed.
If you want to disable the mic, just click on the microphone icon located on the video consultation window.
Your coach should no longer be able to hear from you, or the background feedback.
Once you've completed the call, you can end it by selecting the X icon on the video consultation window.
Once you click this icon, the video consultation window will close, and you will be redirected back to your main browser at vida.com/clients
That's it!
You've completed your first video consultation by our web app.

We recently released a new feature called the Vida Groups!
Our groups will help you connect to other Vida Health members through community social chattingwithother members who are actively working to achieve their wellness goals.
Please take a few minutes to read through our Community Standards before joining our social groups.
How do I get started?
If you are curious to join our social groups, please let your coach know by using The Chat Tab. Once they know you are interested, they will send you a content card inviting you to join.
Please read through the content card before accepting the invite. Once you have completed this, please select to Join Your Group.
You should now see the team icon on the top left-hand corner of the Chat Tab.
After clicking this icon, the sidebar window will open up on the left-hand side. You should see the option of your Care Teams, and your Groups.
Care teams are the team you have with your coaches or your therapists. If you have both, you should see 2 care teams.
Groups are the different social groups you are apart of.
If you want to tap into your social groups, select the name of the group.
This will bring you to your Vida Social Group!You can send messages, photos, videos, and emojis here! If you want more information on the Chat Tab feature, please read through this article: The Chat Tab Explained
Feel free to share your story with your community, ask questions, or just make friends. This community was constructed for you so please feel to utilize as you'd like.
