Mr. William Gajda, also known as Bill, BG, has been Global Head of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships at Visa Europe Limited since August 14, 2017. Mr. Gajda serves as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Visa Inc. since April 2016. He served as Global Head of Mobile Product at Visa Inc. since February 2010 and served as its Global Head of Strategic Partnerships since August 2013. Prior to joining VISA, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for GSM Association and Global Director, Brand and Marketing Communications for LM Ericsson in Stockholm. He has held other executive positions including Vice President of Corporate and Marketing Communications for TELUS Corporation and Vice President of Communications for Bell Canada International. He has nearly 15 years experience in the wireless industry, including seven years with the GSMA. He has been a Director of Danal, Inc. since October 20, 2016. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Apigee Corporation and MOFILM Ltd. He serves as the President of the GSM Foundation. Mr. Gajda obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
