Andrea Coleman — Senior Vice President and Executive Officer of VHA West Coast at Vizient, Inc

Ms. Andrea Y. Coleman serves as Senior Vice President and Executive Officer of VHA West Coast at VHA-UHC Alliance NewCo, Inc. Ms. Coleman served as Interim Executive Officer at VHA-UHC Alliance NewCo, Inc. since August 2015 and served as Vice President of operations and relationship management. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Medical Center, Inc. She joined the VHA West Coast team in 2011 serving multiple member customers, driving key business development initiatives and coordinating strategic planning for the region. She has subsequently been responsible for several learning networks within the region and has developed a relationship - management system for the regional leadership, increasing regional accountability to members and assuring a solution-focus for them. Ms. Coleman has 25 years of health care experience, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) positions within the Sisters of Providence Health System, based in Seattle, Washington and Health Dimensions, Inc., a health system in San Jose, California. She also was Vice President with the Virginia-based Inova Health System, one of the nation's top 25 Integrated Delivery Networks. Before joining VHA, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Regional Health System in Rock Island, Ill., as well as the executive leader of the southern Oregon region of Providence Health System. She has served as Vice President of Relationship Management for Premier Inc. She joined GMC in June 2003 and also functions as Vice President, Genesis Health System. Ms. Coleman is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and holds a master's degree from San Francisco State University. In 2009, she received the honorary degree of doctor of humane letters from the board of trustees of Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
