B. William Vanderburg serves as President - New England of Vha Inc. one of Vha's regional health care systems. Mr. Vanderburg is responsible for coordinating the delivery of national Vha programs and services at the local level and developing regionally focused programs that meet the needs of more than 40 Vha member health care organizations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. Prior to joining Vha in 1985, he worked for 15 years in a variety of executive positions for health care organizations, including Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in Honolulu, the Health Systems Agency of Northeast Pennsylvania and Charter Medical Corp. in Macon, Ga. He served as a Director of New England Life Care, Inc. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Member of the American Hospital Association Society for Hospital Planning and Marketing. Mr. Vanderburg holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and a master's degree in public health and health services administration from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. .
