Chris Moreland — Senior Vice President of Sales Operations at Vizient, Inc

Mr. Chris Moreland has been Senior Vice President of Sales Operations at VHA Inc. since January 2011. Mr. Moreland serves as a Vice President of Account Management at Egencia LLC. Mr. Moreland is responsible for driving customer value through the execution of high quality management services through industry leading account management teams. Mr. Moreland served as vice president of corporate accounts at the online travel company, Expedia. With his 10 years of combined experience in global operations in the health care and equipment management sectors, Mr. Moreland's Six Sigma Master Black Belt has helped him to successfully drive business strategies and forge cross-functional alliances. He joined Egencia from the Johnson and Johnson Company where he served as of Vice President of Global Strategic Pricing for Ethicon Inc. Prior to leading the Strategic Pricing organization, Mr. Moreland was charged with creating a World Wide Sales Operations organization which was comprised of Sales Training, Clinical Education, and Sales Planning and Analytics. He spent 5 years in the food service business with Pepsi Co. Mr. Moreland joined Egencia from the Johnson and Johnson Company. Prior to Johnson and Johnson, Mr. Moreland served with the General Electric Corporation for a period of six years in two separate businesses (Aircraft Engines, and Financial Services). Mr. Moreland served as General Manager of global sales and sales operations at General Electric. There, he led the Six Sigma program within the Aircraft Engines Service Division that transformed the sales organization and increased productivity. Prior to GE, he successfully led both sales and marketing efforts for the KFC brand at PepsiCo./Tricon International. Previously, he served as a district sales manager for Mobil Oil, chemical division. he established a governance process, a value-based pricing model and a worldwide operations center of excellence that directed sales training and development, surgeon training, sales analytics and customer insights. Mr. Moreland also served as logistics officer for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. While with GE, he held an assortment of roles with increasing responsibility ranging from Master Black Belt to General Manager of Commercial Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, and a Masters in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
