Mr. David B. McDonald has been Senior Vice President and Executive Officer-VHA Central Atlantic of VHA Inc. since September 27, 2006. Mr. McDonald has served in a variety of senior management positions over the past 12 years for the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, including the past four years as vice president of cancer care. His prior roles included vice president of regional delivery system development and vice president of integrated delivery system development. In these roles he focused on clinical and business development initiatives and system expansion through hospital mergers and improved government relations. He started his career in materials management with Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center in Meadowbrook, Pa. Mr. McDonald received both his undergraduate and master of business administration degrees from Saint Joseph''s University in Philadelphia.
