Donald McCall — Group Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Vizient, Inc

Mr. Donald R. McCall, also known as Don, serves as the Head of Operations and Performance Practice at Kurt Salmon Associates. Mr. McCall serves as Group Senior Vice President of Operational Services/Group Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Vha Inc. He provides direction and leadership for VHA's business operations that include business development, member strategies, VHA service delivery and consulting services. He joined VHA in February 1996. He has considerable operations and performance improvement expertise, including experience in labor and productivity, business and clinical process improvement, and revenue cycle and supply chain operations. He has more than 25 years of health care operations and strategy experience. Prior to VHA, he was with SunHealth Alliance, Charlotte, N.C. SunHealth merged with AmHS/Premier in January 1996 to form the Premier Alliance. At SunHealth, Mr. McCall served as Senior Vice President of process design services, where his responsibilities included supervision of all consulting services regions and their operations support, comparative services, software development, and decision support areas. He directed the development and refinement of SunHealth's process design services programs from 1991 to 1996. From 1985 to 1991, he served as Director of decision support services, where he was responsible for developing its Perspective?? decision support software. He joined SunHealth in 1979 as Director of management engineering. He is a Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. McCall received a bachelor of science degree in health systems in 1978 from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Colorado in Denver.
