Richard Roycroft serves as Senior Vice President of Consulting Services of Vha Inc. Mr. Roycroft leads the consulting practice that helps Vha's member hospitals improve the delivery of health care services by enhancing clinical quality, operational efficiency, technology integration and supply chain performance. Mr. Roycroft joined Vha in 1996 as one of the original team members of the consulting services group. He had previously spent 11 years with the Charlotte-based SunHealth Alliance, rising to the position of regional director of process design for the western division. Prior to joining SunHealth, he was an industrial engineer with Union Carbide's battery products division.Roycroft received his bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, in 1986, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1993. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Health Systems. Additionally, he is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a past president of the group's Southern Piedmont Chapter.
