Mr. Scott Downing serves as the Executive Vice President of Collaboration and Performance Improvement Networks at VHA Inc and served as its Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Downing served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Services of VHA Inc. Mr. Downing served as Group Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Services of VHA Inc. Having worked for VHA for the past nine years, Mr. Downing has worked in health care for more than 19 years, with specific focus on the health care supply chain. His expertise includes: developing effective strategies and implementation for organization wide supply chain improvement, sourcing strategies, and developing unique and customized relationships between VHA and its members. His current responsibilities include leading all aspects of VHA Supply Chain services and strategies like Purchased Services; Non Acute Care Services; Revenue Management; Supply Chain Performance Management; Physician Preference Management; Consolidated Logistics and Spend Analytics. Prior to joining VHA, Mr. Downing spent 10 years with Sanofi Winthrop Pharmaceuticals, with sales and sales management responsibilities for both the physician and acute care markets. He served as a Director of Novation, LLC. Mr. Downing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Ft. Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
