What is WeSpire's policy towards pets in the workplace?
WeSpire loves our pets and used to have our furry friends visit regularly. Then we moved to a new space that is exactly what we wanted except for one thing...no pets allowed in the building :(
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at WeSpire?
As a small company, WeSpire doesn’t have formal, long training programs to let you know everything you may want or need to know. Ask every question that comes to mind as the team is very patient and understanding and want you to succeed. Have confidence to suggest new ideas and get to know the team. Go to lunch or coffee with everyone. Read everything on the website. Use the product. Ask to sit on a customer call and a sales call. Take notes so you can review all the things you are learning and can’t possibky remember at once. Most importantly, relax and have fun with this new opportunity and challenge. You went through a rigorous process to get the job and that means we are 99% sure you are going to do great! Be you!
What's the work from home policy like at WeSpire?
Extremely flexible. Most of the team works from home or elsewhere at least once a week.
How's the vacation policy at WeSpire?
We offer a flexible vacation policy, meaning you act like the owner you are and take the time you need, when you need it.
Does WeSpire drug test or do a background check?
Background check is mandatory. We do not drug test unless assigned to a client that mandates it.
How flexible is your work schedule at WeSpire?
WeSpire is incredibly flexible. Everything is set up for people to work remotely when needed. Employees have worked from parents house during an illness, had a person who worked remote for a year, and a person who toured with their band for 12 weeks.
What do people at WeSpire think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
She is visionary, hard-working and really good at sales, product strategy, and fundraising. Customers really like and respect her immensely and she is considered a thought leader in our industry. When she has a strong person on the tech side, the company does well. There have been some challenges with some leaders of those areas in the past, but recent new hires in design and product/engineering have been exactly what she needed to take the company to the next level.
How's the work life balance at WeSpire?
It's one of the top rated features of the WeSpire culture. Super focused on flexibility, autonomy and results vs. facetime or ridiculous hours. People work hard and smart and what's best for them.
What part of WeSpire's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
WeSpire is transitioning from being focused on a single engagement program -- sustainability -- to supporting other areas like social impact, wellbeing and positive culture. While sustainability still drives the vast majority of sales, it is expected that these other areas will outpace sustainability over time.
