Executive Bio

Mr. Daniel P. Myers, also known as Dan, has been an Executive Vice President of Northern California Administration at Western Alliance Bancorporation since July 2015. Mr. Myers has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Bridge Capital Holdings since 2004. Mr. Myers has been the President of The Bridge Bank Division of Western Alliance Bank since July 2015. Mr. Myers founded Bridge Bank, N.A., a subsidiary of Bridge Capital Holdings and has been its Chief Executive Officer and President since 2001. He Co-Founded Alimera Sciences Inc. and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He has over 25 years of experience in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical industry in sales, marketing and general management. Mr. Myers served as the Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Bank of Commerce in San Jose from July 1999 to June 2000. He served as the Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at Heritage Bank of Commerce until July 1999. Mr. Myers authored for the de novo bank expansion plans for Heritage Bank East Bay and Heritage Bank South Valley. He served as the Senior Vice President of The Pacific Bank, N.A., following its acquisition of Burlingame Bank & Trust until 1996. Mr. Myers managed the Peninsula Region of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties for The Pacific Bank, he served as the Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Burlingame Bank and Trust. At Burlingame Bank and Trust, he managed 19 loan officers and support staff to turn around a troubled lending program. He was responsible for loan policy administration, credit, marketing and production, training and special asset collection management. Mr. Myers spent more than eight years in progressively senior positions within the lending function of Cupertino National Bank. When he left Cupertino National Bank in March 1994, he was managing a $90 million loan portfolio and a ten loan officer staff in three offices. He was responsible for the Commercial and SBA Loan Groups at Cupertino. He began his banking career in the lending area for Pacific Valley Bank of San Jose. Mr. Myers has been a director of Western Alliance Bank since January 2016. He has been a Director of Bridge Capital Holdings since 2004 and Bridge Bank, N.A. since 2001. He served as a Director of Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. since October 2009. Mr. Myers served as a Director a of Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School through the University of Washington and holds a Liberal Arts degree from DePauw University in Indiana.
