Mr. Jean Claude Farah has been Executive Vice President and President of Global Payments at The Western Union Company since February 2017. Mr. Farah served as President of Middle East, Africa, APAC, Eastern Europe and CIS at The Western Union Company since December 2013 until February 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President of Middle East & Africa from March 2009 to December 2013. Mr. Farah served as Regional Vice President, Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan of Western Union Financial Services, Inc. since July 2005. At Western Union, Mr. Farah oversees two regional offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Islamabad, Pakistan, managing a team of 26 seasoned professionals, covering 15 countries and over 5000 agent locations. Mr. Farah has wide experience in business development, strategic planning and marketing. Mr. Farah served as a Director, Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan of Western Union Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Farah joined Western Union Financial Services in 1999 as a Marketing Manager of Dubai's office after stints as area manager for Orangina Pernod Ricard, France and Assistant Marketing Manager for Renault. Mr. Farah obtained an MBA from the Europe School of Management in Paris, France and a BA in Business Administration from St. Joseph University in Lebanon.
