How employees describe working at Widen Enterprises
Need to scale & level-up performance. Fear-based, not great for more diverse employees. Most things are done with good intentions, but are problematic or harmful nonetheless. However, work/life balance is supported & they are generally progressive in approach to remote lifestyles & employee choice.
I'd recommend that executive leadership listen to the concerns of the employees, but it's obvious over the past year that they have no interest in doing so.
Don't involve 30 people in a process: it shows a lack of confidence. Use intuition and not a scoring system.
Good, overall healthy, but I am still worried about my future trajectory. We need more diversity amongst leadership (i.e. there is a very obvious image or personality that seems to "fit in" and be acceptable for growth here).

Work from home is flexible. Sometimes you need to be home for convenience in between appointments, other times you need to be home for a quiet workplace (a break from the open workspace in the office). Employees are trusted to do their work just as effectively from home as in the office.

Every now and then, employees would bring their pups in, as long as they're behaved and non-disruptive. It's a good stress reliever to be able to chill and pet the dogs for a bit. This will also give the employee an opportunity to know the dog's owner if you don't interact with that person very much.
