How are layoffs handled in the Operations department at XPO?View AllThe company I had been working for all of a sudden came to a decision to close down, a lot of workers left not knowing what’s next the company posted signs saying they will not give employees severance for numerous reasons, & stated your reason had to be good in order to receive it, they start placing employees & job locations that doesn’t fit the employees schedules to which they had at first stating that the job is already filled, it’s so many hard working employees with children that sacrificed so much away time from their kids just to keep the job & to get a smack in the face is like wow!!! It’s like they are pressuring you to accept the placement so you don’t receive your severance package or some employees might have to file unemployment, the hours dropped drastically like never before to the point it’s not enough money to pay any bills, i just hope everyone decide wisely & I hope & pray that everything go right
