Team is long formed. Knows each other well. Genuine affection.

They try to be transparent but there is a lot of bad news.

When interviewers do a bad job for the candidates that is usually caught.

High base comp, comparatively. Many elite tech company’s make their stock price a huge percentage of high comp

It needs to have an announced strategy that is executed against. We really don’t even have an identity, much less strateg
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The part I work in has no identity or strategy. It has been starved of resources and everyone is spread very thin, to the point of looming disaster. There is a lot of talk about building a healthier business, but no resourcing, strategy, or execution to accomplish it.
