What is the best part about your compensation package?Easily it is the unlimited PTO. Obviously I try not to go crazy with it, but it' great that I can take a sick day if I need it and a travel day when I want it. Free lunch would be my other answer but it could use some improvement or a new caterer.
What are some of the best things about your team?Everyone is willing to help each other out. If one person gets stuck, another is willing to answer questions or jump in to help.
What makes you most happy at work? What makes work exciting is when I have something fun and new to work on every day that can challenge me intellectually and socially. Collaborating with teammates and across departments is productive usually, and that conversation lets me execute at a high level.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?They have made a lot of questionable decisions as part of the renos, seems to show a pattern of heavy-handedness even in product decisions. They need to work on trusting the employees to get things done more. Some of the team seems very old school, which clashes with the startup environment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Lower than market Value by a significant amount
