BIO: Mr. Alan R. Hodnik, also known as Al, has been the Chairman of the Board of ALLETE, Inc. since May 10, 2011 and its Chief Executive Officer since May 1, 2010 and President since May 1, 2009. Mr. Hodnik has utility operations, strategic planning, leadership and broader organizational development experience, as well as a deep understanding of the region served by ALLETE, Inc. He joined ALLETE in 1982 and served in a wide variety of positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Operating Officer of Minnesota Power at ALLETE, Inc. since May 8, 2007 with responsibilities for transmission, distribution, generation and engineering functions as well as Superior Water Light & Power and BNI energy, inc. Mr. Hodnik served as Senior Vice President of Minnesota Power Operations, Vice President of Generation Operations and Leader of Organizational Development Team at ALLETE. He maintained strong working relationships with business, organized labor, political and education leaders in northeastern Minnesota and also served on various state and regional task forces throughout his career. He has been a Director of Essentia Health since July 27, 2016. He has been a Director at ALLETE, Inc. since May 12, 2009. He has been an Independent Director of Polymet Mining Corp. since March 09, 2011. He serves on the Lignite Energy Council and the Edison Electric Institute's Energy Supply Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of SMDC Health System. He is a Member of the board of Essentia Health - East Region and of the Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX). He was a Mayor of the City of Aurora from 1987 to 1998. Mr. Hodnik is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

BIO: Mr. James L. Robo, also known as Jim, has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nextera Energy Partners GP, Inc since March 2014. Mr. Robo has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NextEra Energy, Inc. (formerly FPL Group Inc.) since December 13, 2013 and July 1, 2012 respectively. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. He served as the President of NextEra Energy, Inc. since December 15, 2006. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of NextEra Energy, Inc. from December 15, 2006 to July 1, 2012. Mr. Robo served as the Chief Executive Officer of Florida Power & Light Company since May 2, 2012 until May 2014. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC since December 18, 2006 until June 2012 and its President from July 26, 2002 to June 2012. Mr. Robo served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Florida Power & Light Co., subsidiary at NextEra Energy, Inc. since December 15, 2006. He was Consultant with Strategic Planning Associates for eight years. In 1992, Mr. Robo joined GE's Corporate Business Development Staff as Manager - Business Development. In 1994, he moved to GE Lighting as General - Manager Distribution Operations. In 1996, he became General Manager for 6 Sigma Worldwide, prior to assuming his Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer for GE International Mexico. Mr. Robo served as the President of NextEra Energy Resources LLC (formerly, FPL Energy LLC), a subsidiary of FPL Group Inc., from July 26, 2002 to December 2006 and Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy from March 11, 2002 to July 2002. He served as a Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Florida Power & Light Co., and NextEra Energy, Inc. from March 11, 2002 to December 2006. Mr. Robo served as the Principal Executive Officer of Funding Corp., and ESI Tractebel Acquisition Corp. Prior to FPL Group, he served at General Electric Co., for 10 years since joining in 1992. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of GE Mexico from 1997 to 1999. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the GE Capital TIP/Modular Space Division of GE Capital (General Electric Capital Corp.) from 1992 to February 2002. From 1984 to 1992, Mr. Robo worked for Mercer Management Consulting and served as a Vice President from 1988 to 1992. Mr. Robo has been the Chairman of Florida Power & Light Company since May 2, 2012. He serves as the Chairman of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. He serves as a Director of Florida Power & Light Co. Mr. Robo has been a Director of JB Hunt Transport Services Inc., since 2002 and serves as its Lead Director. He has been a Director of Acquisition Corp. since July 2002 and NextEra Energy, Inc. since July 1, 2012. He served as a Director of Elamex SA de CV. He served as a Director of ESI Tractebel Acquisition Corp., and Funding Corp., since July 2002. Mr. Robo holds a BA in European History from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1988, where he was a Baker Scholar.
