BIO: Anthony “Tony” Capuano is chief executive officer of Marriott International, Inc. In this role, Mr. Capuano presides over the world’s largest hospitality company and some of the most iconic brands in travel. Mr. Capuano joined Marriott in 1995 and was instrumental in its steady growth over the years which culminated in the acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in 2016. The company now has more than 7,600 properties across 133 countries and territories and 30 brands. BIO: Sonia Cheng leads a team of seasoned industry professionals to spearhead the regional and international expansion of Rosewood Hotel Group. Ms. Cheng is also executive director of New World Development Company Limited and New World China Land, and executive director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, which comprise one of the largest conglomerates in Hong Kong. Before joining Rosewood Hotel Group, Ms. Cheng worked with a major international investment bank and a global American private equity firm, specialising in real estate investments. Ms Cheng is a member of the Thirteenth Guangzhou Municipal Committee of The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. She is also a member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board. She is a chairman of the advisory committees of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong , a member of the Y. Elites Association, the Young Presidents’ Organisation and the Hong Kong United Youth Association. Ms. Cheng holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Economics from Harvard University.
