Cadence Education – As an educator for Cadence Education, it was a toxic work environment. Staff was negative which affected the kids and their experience as well as my own morale. Protocols, practices were not consistent and pee breaks were rare if at all possible due to understaffing.

I would feel better being compensated immediately after class reimbursement was promised(I haven't gotten reimbursed after six months of waiting), I'd like to be listened to when asking for feedback, and I'd like a more positive staff environment.

When I spoke to leadership about my concerns, they continued to tell me to give things a chance and be more open minded. It was gaslighting each time I went to share constructive feedback with the hopes of finding common ground.

The training of staff needs to be consistent in order for everyone to be on the same page and understand how to work with the students. I believe a lot of the negativity stemmed from others feeling they were being better, worse than others around them.
