Smith's/Kroger is slowly becoming its own version of Walmart. We need to get back to what made grocery special/fun. Pay is embarrassing, fast food pays more now. Bring Sunday pay (or some version of it) back. Bring back quarterly bonuses for ALL associates. Stop with use it or lose it vacation. Etc.

Being supportive. There is nothing more demoralizing than getting beat up everyday by customers, while having employee shortages, while EVERYONE is new around you, while there are supply chain issues, and having district/corporate staff walk you and tell you it's not good enough. Empathize. Help.

Everyone is so burned out at this point that I cannot think of one positive thing to say anymore. It is truly every man for himself. There is no teamwork, no willingness to help. You have management that are convinced that their jobs are on the line and hourly employees THAT DO NOT CARE.

Fast food chains are paying more now. An employee that has been around for 25 years and has shown loyalty is paid as much as a new associate. Stop trying to make our job something that anyone could walk in off the street could do, and start treating it as what it should be, a trade.
