Overall, I like the culture and people but do not love our poor budgets or lack of internal resources. We are always expected to do more with less and aren't even remotely competitive in the market. There are a lot of politics in the office that I find exhausting and feel not everyone's recognized

They have the best of intentions to great a collaborative and successful environment here.

The cash balance plan is a nice added bonus but candidly not nearly as competitive as our competitors offerings (Unilever, P&G) as we get no stock here. I lost money coming to BDF.

The people - it is what keeps me here. We are VERY overworked and there is very little work life balance so at least the people you spend your time with are enjoyable.

I really enjoy working with my colleagues which is what keeps me here. The teams are collaborative, fun and easy to work with. I find it is easy to connect and not as political as competing organizations.

One of the main reasons I am at BDF is because of my team. Everyone works hard but is fun, easy to collaborate with and people I can relate to. It's more important to me than many other things and makes my job enjoyable.

They admit when they are wrong or feel like the leadership team has taken a misstep. It's rare to see executive boards be honest which builds trust. I just wish they would really invest in unlocking the potential of the US as a company more than they do.

All of our competitors (Unilever, P&G, etc) offer very competitive stock options and long-term incentives, none of which we have. I'm paid fairly in salary but everything else is lacking. We will never be able to get talent of their caliber as we are not competitive in the US marketplace.
