They seem to care about people but then that isn't always shown in their actions
Review from Marketing Dept · Posted a month ago
They admit when they are wrong or feel like the leadership team has taken a misstep. It's rare to see executive boards be honest which builds trust. I just wish they would really invest in unlocking the potential of the US as a company more than they do.

Approachable, logical, and thoroughly explain decisions and reasoning behind them.
Review from Marketing Dept
Open and available and they communicate regularly to all employees.
Review from Marketing Dept
The leadership team is transparent, visible, and accessible
Review from Marketing Dept
Focus on the big picture - driving the business. It is insane that ever single individual assets need to be reviewed by the new VP. That does not signify trust or simplicity and shows lack of leadership.

Empowering local market employees to have REAL impact and not just take orders from the Global organization

Display Care and Trust instead of giving mandates

clear goals and objectives. we are focused on too many things right now eveyone is drowing in work and its adding a lit of stress, there are also way too manh trainings. I feel when i meet with my manager i have 100 things to ho over with her because there is so much change and ambiguity

All of our competitors (Unilever, P&G, etc) offer very competitive stock options and long-term incentives, none of which we have. I'm paid fairly in salary but everything else is lacking. We will never be able to get talent of their caliber as we are not competitive in the US marketplace.

Unlimited PTO and encouragement to use it.

Salary is on par/slightly above market rates
Review from Marketing Dept
Base pay is very good.

defined contribution plan, unlimited time off

A promotion to mirror the contribution I make and level of experience I have; along with that a higher salary and bonus bracket
Review from Marketing Dept · Posted a month ago
We're overworked because teams are too lean and company does not grant requests for headcount. Because teams aren't growing, promotions never happen even when they're deserved.
Review from Marketing Dept
higher salary - I have been here for 6 years and promoted thrice but my pay is still not on par what what I am seeing with my peers and in the industry. I would like my pay to increase aligned with my stellar performance
Review from Marketing Dept
Stock options are given in other companies for Director level and above, not in this company. when you give so much revenue to the company, it feel short compared to other comparable Fortune 500.
Review from Marketing Dept
When promoted, my raise was not what I would have expected in the absolute but I also felt the bonus threshold should have gone up with the promotion
Review from Marketing Dept
They are genuinely nice people

One of the main reasons I am at BDF is because of my team. Everyone works hard but is fun, easy to collaborate with and people I can relate to. It's more important to me than many other things and makes my job enjoyable.

Good communication. Manager is strong.

They care for each other and we volunteer together periodically.

Assume best intent and cheer on your colleagues. Don't bring the toxic culture of previous large CPG employers to a place that has previously been a joy to work for.

more inclusive , open to opinions of others, celebrates each others successes, foster safe environment to grow

We would benefit from a team event per quarter

80% of time our core ethics are followed but when they're not ... it is very offputting

The team I work on

Friendly people, working against goals that are shared
Review from Marketing Dept
The people are good - everyone is just overworked so morale is low and culture feels like "hustle culture" where everyone is expected to work beyond hours.
Review from Marketing Dept
People who have been here a while are mostly genuine, fun, driven and kind.
Review from Marketing Dept
work-life balance. Appreciation for the long hours at work.

Review from Marketing Dept
Too much politics; operating model inhibits the impact I can have; don't agree with global functional area team and decisions they make that impact me

We have no power of influence over what Global tells us to do. We are relegated to order takers. Very demoralizing.
Review from Marketing Dept
the grow in the US has led to a very intense, frantic culture and senior managment. some busiess the company has bought dont seem to be going well (coppertone, chantecaille) and the pressure from the US and Global board on some if the launches (euc sun, face) and legacy busienss (aqu) is intense
Review from Marketing Dept
Too much politics influencing day to day work. Short staffed.
Review from Marketing Dept
My team is not structured for growth and my manager and I are so overwhelmed with work I don't feel as though I have a mentor or clear career path
