Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It's not that I feel undervalued. Sometimes we do a lot behind the scenes and sometimes it feels like this effort is not seen until stopped.

Pay rate is not competitive with other similarly sized companies in the area. While there is a willingness to hear from employees, little action is taken.

The job market is hot right now. Anyone could easily leave for higher compensation. I think BDF could do more to compensate employees for that as we have seen quite a few people leave recently for better paying jobs.

- BDF does not adjust salaries in line with the market, which are easily visible through Recruiters, Glassdoor, etc. - Proactively adjust salaries if there are large gaps between 2 employees doing the exact same job. -Provide more transparency

There is no focus on development, currently teams are more focused on completing tasks quickly and with the upmost scrutiny (even when factors and estimates are directional at best). Trainings and knowledge sharing are outsourced to brief townhalls and stale videos , marketed to be at"your convience
