What used to make me happy was the drive to grow, learn, and gain experience- as of recently, they have bled us so dry and spread us so thin with more work, less support, and then inaccurate/ unfair reviews. Example- 40% of performance based on a program with severe technical issues (Fulfillment).

Management can be improved on how to approach their workers. Place of work needs better service for employees. Perhaps hired a cleaning company to clean up the store after hours every day. Heating and hot water needs to improved in store. One of the reasons employees get sick.

I feel my manager is not a good fit for the role and a store visit where higher up or HR comes in and talks to each associate one on one about her to discuss how everyone feels, because I feel everyone's feelings deserved to be validated!

Management needs to check in on employees. Management is also fine with talking bad about employees right in front of them. There is seemingly no patience for new employees since you're expected to do everything and know everything about how to do every task despite not being trained.

Social with costumer and find enjoyment and fulfillment. Learn tougher skin and roll of the bad because interactions come and go everyday. Management need to be responsible and address issues then excuse bad and inconsiderate behavior. Keep public language professional

We need a new store manager who cares about the people who work with her and not making it a manipulation tactic to tell every associate to "turn it off" when they come to work. So being very misleading and very contradicting.

We need to get a stronger team with good intentions and stop making excuses to not hot our goals. Which is what the mager is doing always using excuse on why the store is how it is.

Even these questions are just a repeat over and over again asking the same thing but phrased differently. DSW is toxic and they failed me in everyway.

There is a lack of diversity within DSW. The culture is not progressive and conducive to the success of African American people.

Treat employees fairly and legally. Your stores have a policy where associates can't clock in until they have a walkie talkie which is located in a break room, yet timeclock is at the front of the store. This is illegal. Look it up. It's called asking employees to work off the clock.

Extremely limited payroll; constantly cutting payroll while increasing daily tasks. In the end it negatively affects the customer experience
