The company had a policy making it mandatory for managers to fire 10% of the staff every year in annual reviews. Upper management would also have to fire 10% of their supervisors each year. This lead to a lot of throwing others under the bus to save yourself and anxiety at work.

The leadership team was cool. One of the managers had a heart attack mid-shift and paramedics came and hauled him off. He was a big coke user and it was sad yet funny to see him OD and come back like a champ the next day.
