  • The “Design Department” is now decentralized with no one UX Design leader. A lot of people are leaving due to changes in design leadership among individual teams as well as a small amount of layoffs. Attitudes vary across the teams. Hopefully we will hit bottom soon and reboot with a more upbeat future after the new year. The work we are doing is having a significant positive impact on future of energy production worldwide, however there are challenges and growing pains as we transition GE to a “digital industrial.”
