If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at GE Digital?

it appears that the starting designation in GE digital is CIO and there is 4 dimensional matrix of CIOs. Too complex. The Company should simplify the org structure.

The “Design Department” is now decentralized with no one UX Design leader. A lot of people are leaving due to changes in design leadership among individual teams as well as a small amount of layoffs. Attitudes vary across the teams. Hopefully we will hit bottom soon and reboot with a more upbeat future after the new year. The work we are doing is having a significant positive impact on future of energy production worldwide, however there are challenges and growing pains as we transition GE to a “digital industrial.”

Yes, they do both, pretty extensive as well, I thought I have something expunged, but it showed up on background check and I had to settle for a contractor role instead of direct hire.
