I've grown immensely since joining Grindr - personally and professionally. I've been promoted, I've helped grow my team, and I moved across the country to be in one of our fabulous offices in order to fill that professional social need.

They lead as the humans that they are. Like with any human, there are always faults but we do a great job within the org to provide and be receptive to positive and constructive feedback

The health benefits and resources!!! One benefit we offer is Ginger.io. Through Ginger, I was able to painlessly find a therapist who I've been seeing for months now. The copay is only $20 for a single visit

We're collaborative and invested in each other's success! On the recruiting team it's easy to isolate and feel like you're in competition to close candidates, but we genuinely all offer help sourcing. And everyone is cross-trained so Coordinators can go on vacation and wheel keeps spinning!

It's inclusive! I've heard from many colleagues that they're used to being the 'token gay man', 'token lesbian', 'token queer', etc. and they were so relieved to come into a space where their humanity was the most interesting thing about them - not their sexuality or gender identity.

Being shown the world through the queer lens. I come from sales offices where the majority of employees were cis, straight people where our water cooler talk is sports, weather, or family. At Grindr, the water cooler chat is pop culture, queer. It is refreshing to connect on a deeper level.
