They were basically hiring anyone with a stem BS degree and a pulse.
When I learn a new software or application, it keeps it challenging and engaging.
My coworkers aren't Infosys employees, but employees of the company my project is with. They seem to treat Infosys people like crap. I'm continuously talked down to by the project leader or given mediocre and tedious tasks that no else wants to do.
If you are going to train someone for a certain position and even send them off to a boot camp training for the position, employ them using the skills they trained on. I was trained in Java development, I'm doing software support. :/
Better training, better projects other than application support, compensation that is more in line with other companies. In my area, there are a lot of big name tech companies moving in, Infosys will lose staff and talent they haven't bothered to tap into to.
Give me some work that is more in line with what I was trained to do. Stop putting us in projects where we get little to no training on what we are expected to do. I will say I've been very frustrated with the projects.
