There have been a couple RIFs recently which made me feel pretty low at times, especially with teams running extremely lean. It's been tough. However, I've been provided opportunities to consistently excel and challenge myself while feeling valued as an employee.

I was able to talk with multiple employees who would be my peers in order to get a better idea of 'a day in the life.' I was even able to speak with someone who was in a SVP position.

Flexibility! Virtually, it's hard to turn off. Knowing my boundaries allow me to do my best work. I also appreciate the effort that goes in to bring colleagues together across functions when normally, you may not have a true opportunity to interact with them.

I appreciate the collaboration and general friendless of all colleagues. Most are willing to jump in to help on an issue when you need it. I count some of my coworkers as friends which is often tough when you haven't met some of them in person!

One: vulnerability. There is an authenticity to our leaders that I haven't seen elsewhere. I feel that they are truly invested in the team and my growth as an individual allowing me flexibility and autonomy while placing trust in me to do what needs to get done in order to bring about success.
